No longer able to post comments on articles.

I did not post anything on this site for a long time (only reading it), but I noticed that I can no longer post comments to the articles ("Reply" button is missing in my case from comments section on main site articles; I only have "Ignore user" and "Alert moderator" buttons). Why is that?
