American Silver Eagles Sales Set Record at US Mint in 2014 but Lagged in Dollar Terms To Gold Eagles Whose Sales Were Dow 44%
Sales of American Silver Eagles soared in 2014 at the US Mint BUT in dollar terms they were not very impressive given the low price of silver.
Indeed, American Gold Eagle sales in 2014 were down 44% from 2013 but were still enough to constitute a larger dollar amount than the record 2014 sales of silver eagles.
