Not The Week We Had Hoped

Last week ended with Comex Digital Silver breaking out of its 4-year price range and moving above $31/ounce. Though the early week showed signs of promise, strong price capping and a deliberately-timed margin hike have served to forestall any advance and restrain price.

In the end, it is what it is and, frankly, should not have come as any surprise. This is Comex silver, after all. The same "metal" that has traded below $30 for the past 12 years. To think that it would now suddenly advance forward and make up for lost time is somewhat foolhardy.
