The Consistent Performance of the Metals and the Miners

My first visit to the site since May. I figure why rub my face in my own portfolio. I have to admire the consistency of the metals and the miners. When general equities are rallying, the metals drop. When general equities are flat and spending weeks in a trading range....the metals drop. And when general equities are falling what do we see.....the metals falling. But I'm not losing faith. I KNOW with 100% certainty that the metals and miners will eventually rally, probably starting the day after I die. But at least my heirs will reap the eventual benefits. Meanwhile I'll see if my portfolio can drop another 20% below the 30-40% losses since last September.
