Holiday Jackass

It's a three-day US market holiday weekend. You know what that means! An update from The Golden Jackass himself, Jim Willie.

By now, you know the drill. I ask Jim to pontificate on three primary topics and Jim, of course, never disappoints. For this call, those three topics are:

  1. The renewed and ongoing bull markets for both gold and silver.
  2. Negative interest rates and the end of the debt-based monetary system.
  3. Signals from central bankers that the dollar's days as reserve currency are numbered.

As always, I urge you to check out Jim's Hat Trick Letter service. More details can be found at his website, www.golden-jackass.com.

Have a great weekend but be ready for another wild week ahead.

Yuan fix guess

Chinese need to stop playings like sissies. Go for the jugular 7.15.

Sep 2, 2019 - 8:21pm

Yuan fix, guess.

My guess is 7.0996 as close to 7.10 as you can get.

If they go something like 7.1025 or higher, that'll get the markets roiling, right Craig?

Edit,,, Meanwhile college football on TV tonight is entertaining while we wait.

Maybe I'm just getting too old

Maybe I'm just getting too old but I would rather listen to a conversation than brief question-minuteslongmonologue-brief interruption-minuteslongmonologue-brief interruption-minuteslongmonologue.

I'm just tired of it. And I agree with Jim Willie on almost everything. I'm just tired of it. Human conversation is much more pleasant.

Must be able to run an algo from their BBQ grills. Trying to recover the upday in gold before breakfast.

Great Post AGXIIK!

I will give Allstate a try. What I really did not like was the current rating of Safeco and the people who have posted about their business dealings when making a claim.

Next, a sign of cultural insanity:

We traveled up I-5 and our SR512 to the Washington State Fair at Puyallup. (If you have a difficult time saying "Puyallup", the first u is long, forget the y.

The place was packed and I was really good this year. Not one scone or curly fries with a ton of ketchup. Then we worked our way into the huge building with vendors trying to sell us things we do not want or need. Then it happened: A young man, in his 20's, selling cell phone coverage systems. He asked to see my cell phone. I said that i did not bring a cell phone. He was shocked! I told him that I did not text, tweet, face book or face time or any thing else. I told him that I actually talked to people, face to face. He was speechless. That is where I should have just walked on but>>>> I told him, (one of my favorite sayings), "If I was 40 years younger, I would steal your girlfriend". He said: "What would you do, text her"? "Nope: I would talk to her". He said what would you talk to her about if you did not text her? That is when my wife said: "You talk to her about what you would normally text"! He just could not digest the concept of talking and not texting. Now this is a true sign of the degeneration of the youth.

Next; You say AGXIIK, that we only have 12 more years to live. There are those out there who proclaim this, hoping to frighten all into giving them fiat to save the planet. I cannot get Al Gore/AOC and their assembly to visit. I have a more frightful agenda and it will not make them wealthy. (I could sign a free lease to your garage, for $1/mo. and lasting 12 years).

Last: Steve Quayle and others are trying to frighten all of us in the NW. The big one is coming and all the salt water areas will be under water. I moved to an elevation of 307' above sea level. What should really frighten us is a visit to the Evergreen State Campus, and see what we have already degenerated into. Jim

After UNCH on Monday

Any bets on the yuan fix tonight (Tuesday china time)?

USDCNH surging to 7.19+ makes it look like a fix north of 7.10 is coming.
