Thursday Conversation - Alasdair Macleod of GoldMoney

Please be sure to listen to this FREE, PUBLIC podcast.

Yes, I realize that it's Friday but this week's schedule is such that this podcast could not be posted on Thursday. Additionally, this discussion with Alasdair is so valuable that I wanted to post it at the top of the TFMR homepage and leave it there all weekend.

My purpose in reaching out to my old friend, Alasdair, was to discuss these two recent research pieces. As gold and silver are progressing higher in our 2010+9 scenario (https://www.tfmetalsreport.com/blog/9151/2010-9), it's important to consider the potential ramifications of both:

Many thanks to Alasdair for the generous donation of his time. Please be sure to listen and give this podcast your thorough consideration.

The verdict is in. The official autopsy report shows the Epstein died by hanging.......................................... with the Clintons.

Chart update

A solid end to the week. Both digital metals with green weekly candles and both finishing above key resistance levels.

good interview

You certainly are hooking up with some fine guests these days, Craig (and Alasdair's command of the English language makes me feel oafish by comparison; what a great speaker). Can't wait for your "ask the expert" segment with David Rosenberg.

As a thought experiment, let's say gold makes a run to $1600 and the GSR narrows to 80 to 1 (sorry, I can't see 50 to 1 at this point in time). Ergo, $20 silver? Just fantasizing.

CoT thoughts

Comex Digital Gold: Remember, CDG was up $30 on the CoT week while OI fell. You'd have thought there would be another significant deterioration...but there wasn't. In fact, the Large Spec NET long position actually FELL by about 2,500 contracts! The Large Specs are still NET long a massive 290,000 contracts but this is a very nice surprise, nonetheless.

Comex Digital Silver: Keep in mind that while CDG was up $30, CDS rose by 53¢. So you'd have expected a deterioration here, too, but you didn't get it. In fact, the Large Spec NET long position actually shrank by 10,500 contracts! This is a very pleasant development, too.

Because of the net selling be The Specs, the Commercials were able to reduce their net position. The curious part is that they did so by adding 7,903 new LONGS instead of massively covering old shorts. I'll better explain this in Monday's podcast. In this podcast, Alasdair may have provided an explanation, too...

TFMR rounds

They're out of stock.

Maybe I can get Josh to make some more now that demand is picking up again.
