Discussing the CNY-Crude with Alasdair Macleod

With the yuan-denominated crude oil contract ready to begin trading on March 26, we thought we'd check in today with an expert on the significance of this, our pal Alasdair Macleod of GoldMoney.

For this call, I simply asked Alasdair to lay out the short-term and long-term significance of pricing crude oil in something other than U.S. dollars. This new contract not only disrupts the crude oil market, it also impacts gold, forex and geo-politics. So please be sure to listen to this entire podcast and then consider the future implications of this new CNY-Crude contract.

Britain vs Russia

When I listen to the rhetoric coming out of Britain towards Russia I can't help but think this is all about the City of London losing control. That picture of all those Gold bars on the runway in Russia wasn't an accident. That was a message being sent from " Russia With Love ", Mr. Rothchild. You can't rig ANYTHING until you rig the Gold price.

And anybody that believes the Russian poisoning story is too gullible to bother with. Now tying it back to the Christopher Steele dossier and the Clinton's. Now that makes far more sense.

Helping OOOBuck's Analysis today:

Oil: WTI is about $61/b., which is still more than 50% down from its high, from years ago. Do ya remember when gas was almost $4/gal?

Pot stocks: Nothing will stop the growth of the industry, especially for the medical end of the plant. The real trouble will start when the drug companies talk the government into allowing them to control the sale of the products, through the FDA.

Bitcoin and crypto's: Bitcoin is still down over 50% from its high, some having bought in the $19,000/coin area, and still hoping that it will not look like the silver market, where some of us bought monster boxes at $45+/coin.

Price of gold: Range bound for a long time. As this ranging continues, all is well in the prepping world. The day that will come, seeing the price rocket to the moon, every day, will change a settler to a seeker of a bug out hideaway and quickly. Jim

Never any proof - NEVER !

Every last one of the incidences that have caused such an uproar and resulted in accusations against Russia of hacking this, bombing that or most recently, nerve gassing an aging and long defunct 'double' agent.... never any proof. All those street cams, all those agents, rewards for tipsters and agents pouring over documents and photos that could fill entire libraries and.... nuthin'. Just a lot of hot air, filled with vitriol and bluster.

The beneficiary of all this is of course, the old magician's trick of methodical distraction; watch this hand while all the trickery takes place using the other. It's all politics and deception.

They all ought to be strung up for creating this kind of hysteria with not so much as a whisper of proof and bringing us all so near to yet another bloody war. The good news in all irony, is that perhaps this will be the last one.

Why Are NATO Air Forces Moving From Turkey to Jordan?

Losing Turkey as an ally would be a catastrophe for NATO. This coupled with this speech ( 20:00 minutes ) by Col. Lawrence Wilkerson is important.

Re: China as new Saudi protector

Ultimately, the banksters 'U.S. dollar' (it's their dollar, not the American people's) - is backed by the military power paid for & manned by the American people. At some point U.S. military power would have to be challenged & thwarted if another player is to take over the role as Saudi protector. In quantitative terms, no nation comes close today to matching the resources of the US military. This is particularly true regarding the military resources most important in terms of Saudi oil transport - naval & air power.

It would take a substantial qualitative leap in weapons technology to overcome the US quantitative advantage. This would likely be in the realms of electronic & cyber warfare, anti ship, anti aircraft, & anti missile, etc.

There is a lot of moronic commentary on msm regarding Putin's recent speech on Russia's advanced weapons technology. Putin wasn't threatening the West. He was saying that the factor which has kept strategic balance for many decades - Mutual Assured Destruction (M.A.D.) is still in place. This is so despite neocon fantasies. Also, Putin is well aware that his nation & the world would be destroyed in a nuclear conflict. You have to wonder if Western 'leadership' is intelligent enough to realize this also.

It does seem that there's a lot of saber rattling by the US today (and it's minion nations). This is reminiscent of what took place prior to WW1 when U.K. leadership saw the long term economic threat from a vibrant Germany. Britain could not compete if their parasite banker class was going to keep their extravagant privileges. They would not just sit still while the inevitable happened. So they decided to knock over the game board and used war to do it.
