Give Thanks and Pass the Jackass

179

In a holiday tradition here at TFMR, our old pal Jim Willie returns today to discuss a wide range of issues with questions posed by listeners in our A2A webinar format.

Following an initial, 30-minute discussion of the significance of the recent events in Saudi Arabia, The Jackass spends nearly an hour fielding questions directly from the audience. Among the topics covered:

  • the growing economic conflict between the US and "the Eurasian Alliance"
  • the Swiss banks and shortages of allocated gold
  • reports of US intervention to allow ISIS terrorists to escape Raqqa
  • that "The Big Reset" has already begun, you likely just haven't noticed
  • the Saudi Aramco IPO and what it signifies
  • Jim's preferred asset allocation mix
  • and, in true Jackass free-form style, a whole lot more in between

This baby checks in at 85 minutes. At an average speed of 70 mph, that means you can cover nearly 100 miles of drive time while listening on your way to your in-laws! For everyone else, maybe break it up into segments so that you don't miss anything.

Enjoy,

TF

The next big terror threat...

I just want to give my prediction that the next global terrorist threat willl be MS-13, the Well known El Salvadorean ruthless tattooed gang, known for unspeakable depravities and a threat to every man, woman and child, not in that order, that resides in the civilized world. This unspeakable menace will prove to be a greater challenge to peace & decency since any of the other recent threats to peace, decency and our very existence, among them, Communist Russia, Al Quaeda, Soviet Russia, ISIS, ISIL, Russia, Hells Angels and similar weapons of fear. Other than that, we could just defund the CIA and live in peace, just sayin`.

@twippers

One possible answer: the machinery isn't yet in place to manipulate the cryptos. when there are futures on the cryptos, we'll see what happens.

The other possible answer (mentioned previously by me): gold and silver have been money historically. cryptos not so much. gold is "the thermometer" to tell anybody with eyes the global monetary system has a fever. so why not just break the thermometer?

Crypto mining for Dummies

When considering how much electric power consumption is claimed to be required to "mine" bitcoin and the like, what is it that is requiring so much computer time? What are these captured computers actually doing to be rewarded with a crypto?

A RESEVOIR..

I was listening toa Clif High interview in which he stated there were millions of Bitcoin being held by "Satoshi Nakamoto" the infamous author of the white paper about bitcoin that got this entire ball rolling...

That amount of Bitcoin, it could be used, to suppress the price of Bitcoin.. if indeed there is a 'Central' actor that has herded the people into this replacement-for-the-dollar... much akin to a https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Desert_kite ....

idk

...in case you missed the link... Here, Jim Sinclair has his lightbulb moment when discussing bitcoin-money-gold with Clif High. This is an information packed interview for the non-techie about bitcoin. It's long but thorough:

@Ronnie 666

He's been here over 3 years, you've been here about a half year. He knows what the difference is between 'Zionist' and 'Jewish', and so do many of us - do you ? (He's not an anti Semite or even anti Israel - - if peaceful within their existing borders. And especially if they don't drag our troops into another Mid-East war.)

Frankly, we're adults here and don't need a censor. We can choose to read, or not read, a post all on our own. We even have an Ignore function.

And what's up with the '666' ? Are you some kinda Satanist ?

(See, it's easy to toss out aspersions on others.)

Just a Bit More Patience

I know us guys n girls are getting anxious, but the financial reset is going to be one of the last phases to be actioned.

The good guys are good because they want to minimalize the suffering of zmankind. The financial reset has many dire consequences (people react poorly to losing everything). The plan is in place and will blow minds..its worth the wait.

Peace.

Anti-Semites....

Definition of Semite

: a member of any of a number of peoples of ancient southwestern Asia including the Akkadians, Phoenicians, Hebrews, and Arabs: a descendant of these peoples

: a member of a modern people speaking a Semitic language

Full disclosure. I worked daily with a Jewish business partner for 11 years. He helped to enlighten me of the difference between Judaism and Zionism and Jews and Israeli's.

The fact that I have been on Turd’s site for 6 months compared to Angry Chef 3 whole years is not a measure of brain power or common sense. I value Turd’s site and the great comments made by many of the members and I have learned much. By contrast, Angry Chef’s posts articles from sites spewing Anti-Semitism which I and many others don’t value. I don’t think its cleaver or any way aids us in the metals space. If you feel so strongly that Zionism is the rudimentary cause of all the world’s ailments why don’t you set up a special anti-Zionism forum where you and your colleagues can goose step around blaming others for your ineptitude. Wow sorry it already exists on TF metals !! So my advice is use it so that we members of Turds forum interested in metals and economics can discuss this devoid of racism of or other distractions. I am sure we can all live with that.

You have no idea what those pictures depict and what those crazy Jews are protesting about. They do this to hasten the end of the world and the arrival of their messiah. This is not for the good of the world or universal peace. By the way we all understand who anti-Semitism is directed against we don’t need your definition. By the way take my advice and use the "special" anti-Zionism anti Semitic racist forum so we in the alternate world can get on without distraction with what we enjoy -ie. discussing metals, economics and hopefully make some money.

A reluctant reply to "A veteran's mother"

It is so easy to sympathize with Eileen F. Cosgrove. Indeed, my heart goes out to her and her family for their terrible loss. How could I be otherwise? It is afterall, a touching and tragic story that touches us all. And yes, I understand her position on the BLM and her criticism of the NFL.

I however, became curious as to just who Eileen F. Cosgrove was. The article was so well written... professionally crafted and I thought... Is she really who she claims to be? Maybe she's a composite pen name like Tyler Durden? Could she even be a CIA asset and the whole thing just a work of fiction? It got me thinking and pushed me to do a little simple research.

As it turned out, she does actually exist. A New Jersey lawyer and former prosecutor, she was the step-mother (from the age of 6) of a young marine lace corporal who died in Iraq in 2005. She is the author of two fictional books describing Americans in historical war scenarios as seen through the eyes of a young American warrior who, as the main character and protagonist, bears the name of her real-life marine step-son. It is she claims, her way of keeping the memory of this young fallen soldier alive. She is clearly a patriot of an order shared by few others and anyone blind to her suffering or to her patriotism must question who they are as an American. But I must admit, something left me rankled and unsettled after reading this emotional and angry plea for justice that spilled over into the BLM movement.

Whenever I read or watch a war story, I always ask myself, would John Wayne or Ronald Reagan approve and champion this story? They loved the depiction of an honorable and heroic American, fighting for country and freedom here and throughout the world with integrity and justice for all. If he survived he came home to his girl and a grateful America. If he died, he was a hero and cherished symbol. Plain and simple.... cut and dry.

In a way, I wish that it were forever so. Whether these young men were drafted or encouraged to join because of poverty or some misguided sense of personal opportunity and prestige or seduced by a war hungry movie industry or perhaps their own image in a stunning uniform, fit and trim, capped by devotion and sense of belonging to the corps. I understand these things. I've been part of it. I understand.

But it is never the whole story about our wars or the men who served. It's just not that simple because the world isn't that simple. It's been white-washed, sanitized and idealized. Indeed, in the twisted haze of military false-flags, a presidential assassination, the deep state and insane congressmen preaching the survivability of thermo-nuclear war, nothing is clear or heroic.

I am thankful to those men and women who gave their lives for the ideals that we like to think of as "our" America. My problem is that I don't think it was our America that created the distrust and hostility that culminated in sending our beloved youth to deliver the automated death that painted the face of war in the 20th and 21st centuries. Hitler needed to be stopped but he was in part, created by the most wealthy and powerful people in America; the 1% of their day. The Korean War was foisted on America by a UN that showed for the first time, its inadequacies. The Vietnam war was furthered at the cost of the life of an American President. The Iraq war by government deception at the highest level. And it all continues unabated to this day.

I ask again, for what did these young people give their lives?

And as a brief aside on the disrespect displayed by NFL players to the playing of our national anthem, I think the players should be held accountable. It's too late to change the tradition of expressing our dedication to our country by preceding the game with a performance of our national anthem. Of course, it never was a rule that was ever carved in stone or mandated by the constitution but we started doing it at some point in my lifetime and it is now more entrenched than ever and has become one more thing that now causes division among us. We needed this like our kids need toy nuclear missiles under the Christmas tree. Have a blast kids.

OK, so there isn't anyone marketing toy nuclear missiles , at least none that I know of, not yet. But we make up for it with all kinds of war toys and games. I've been encouraged to love war and military heroism from the day I was born.

How did we get here and just who is keeping us here?

Two days a week of hearing how others are making decisions that are paying off is not going to kill you Nancy. Maybe you can reassess your viewpoints and join the party, but if not then fine. BTC Rejoice

The fact that BTC is reaching $10,000 from less then $1000 at the beginning of the year, tells us all we need to know about fiat currency. It is over! Period, end of story!

Well, not quite the end, all that fiat will flood into monetary metals soon enough.

I know a lot of you have no respect for this guy. I know a lot of you have respect for this guy. To be honest, this whole world is fucking crazy at the moment. Tax Bill Farce

This David Stockman article came out about a week ago & I don't know if it was already linked here. But it is another argument that supports the idea that the GAN (generally accepted narrative) is built on sand - just like U.S. finances. The crooks are grabbing all they can while the grabbing is good. THIS is why having some physical PMs in the portfolio as insurance is a very good idea IMO. How long can this insanity go on ?
