For Auld Lang Jackass

200

One year ends and a new one begins. That means it's time to take stock of where we've been and where we're going and few are better at pointing the way than The Golden Jackass.

For this call, I asked Jim to primarily focus his comments on three, specific areas of interest for 2017:

  1. The global bond market, QE and interest rates
  2. The Italian and Eurozone banking sector
  3. The Trump Administration versus The Established Elites

As usual, I think you'll find this entertaining and very informative. Enjoy the show and be sure to have a safe and relaxing New Year's weekend.

Libero - 2:26pm post

We are getting there Libs - that will change to 25% - 75% when you see real jobs being created in areas that need it - like Detroit. Then 50 - 50 later on when race relations start improving. Then 75 - 25 when Washington pedophiles are punished - etc.

Info...

It wasn't the ethics tweet that I found something Trump-positive. He saw the advantage of coming out against this after the negative coverage, and after his "adviser" (Conway) was all for it the first thing this morning. Trump, the opportunist, saw a win win tweet, like he's the ethics champion.

What tilted me in his favor was his brow beating of Ford to not pursue Mexico plant. I like that. He earned 5 points for that.

My favorability-unfavorablility Trump rating is now at 15% - 85%.

@Libero

Consider this: https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-01-03/trump-tweeter-onslaught-contin...

Feel like opening your mind regarding Trump just a wee bit?

As for Putin, I'm sure it is all his fault, right?

and I am not praising CFTC or SEC but I am not going to eliminate them (baby-bath water thing) and think that things will get better (sort of like the good ole wild west). Call me common sensical.

Libero

Kindly name a single instance in which the CFTC has responded to evidence of blatent and continuing market manipulation in precious metals, as testified by Andy MacGuire.... They are worse than worthless.

Meanwhile, there is a very nice bid in silver...

AGAU -we shall see

if Trump goes after the corruption in DC (or adds to it), or the Repubs "replace" the trading oversight agencies, (don't hold your breath).
