A Chat with Rob Kirby

31

Earlier today, we had an A2A webinar scheduled with Rob Kirby. Unfortunately, technical issues forced a postponement. Once the issues were resolved, Rob graciously found some extra time and recorded for everyone this very informative podcast. Please have a listen.

The two main issues that I asked Rob to address were these:

  • How will the recent, unprecedented moves in interest rates affect the global interest rate swap and derivative markets?
  • The long-term significance of the Deutschebank silver rigging settlement.

Please take time to listen to this very informative podcast. Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience caused by the technical issues on our end. A2A will return next week in its usual time slot.

Disturbing if true...

https://www.armstrongeconomics.com/markets-by-sector/precious-metals/gol...

Not the idea that Gold goes below $1,000 or lower, but what India is doing. I firmly bought metals believing that it would go to paper zero. Making holding it illegal is the real game...

Great A2A Turd

Wow! That was an amazing A2A with Turd and Rob! I am often saddened for the coming despair of paper collapse that will be utterly devastating. Rob Kirby gave us new insights that shook me to the core as I sat drinking coffee looking out over the cliff.

One of the best A2A yet !

I'm almost glad that you had problems with the live feed because it gave a chance to just let him go...and away he went. I think that if you had had to interrupt for listener questions the dynamic would have been entirely different.

Another masterful job of interviewing Mr, Ferguson !!!!

And THANK YOU Mr. Kirby !!!!! Well done ! I am going to listen twice also.

Rob certainly knows his stuff

The info. about Italy entering the EU and how Goldmann Sachs and Jim Richards were involved was absolutely excellent. I've heard bits and pieces of it before but never in its entirely like Rob Kirby knows it.

Edit: I'm listening to the podcast again.
Correction: That should be Goldmann Sachs not as I originally said JP Morgan.

Great presentation by Rob

and thanks for your usual excellent interview of letting him tell the story.

Especially the LTCM story which was new to me. Makes one wonder exactly how much is hidden behind the curtain..

The games continue as long as Exchange Stabilization Funds exist

With 20 trillion dollars the ESF will rescue the system, suppress gold forever...and keep the paper markets creditable.

I always enjoy interviews with Rob

He always gives of that quintessentially Canadian vibe of being a complete gentleman yet somehow leaving you to suspect that he'd be a great guy with whom to share a few beers. Sort of like a Gordie Howe in the world of finance.
