A2A with John Embry

85

What a treat to have John Embry of Sprott Asset Management join us for this week's A2A. Times like these call for wise and experienced counsel and there are few in the precious metals industry who can match John's accumulated wisdom amd knowledge.

Among the topics discussed in today's webinar:

  • the current state of the gold market and the renewed bull market for price
  • which factors make a mining company an attractive investment and how do you know when to sell
  • what impact the impending US election will have on precious metals prices
  • the steps John is personally taking to prepare for the rough times ahead
  • what is a fair value for gold after years of price management and manipulation
  • his opinion on other investments such as Bitcoin and the CEF
  • and much, much more!

This was a great call and John was a terrific guest. We look forward to having him back soon. In the meantime, please make sure to listen to this recording. You'll be glad you did.

Greg Hunter

Should be considered a national treasure for people of the US. Smart, passionate and honest......c'mon. Maybe we should send a resume on his behalf to TRUMP Media?

Preaching to the Choir

I know we know - but it just has to be documented somewhere - by 'them' and by us

BLSBS complete with the porridge number - not to hot, not to cool and with a smokin' GDP a rate hike fersure , but ..... (my sarc, my underline)

https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-37869947

'... The healthy labour market will support the view held by many analysts that the US Federal Reserve will raise interest rates next month. Average hourly earnings were up $0.10, or 0.4%, in October, a slight acceleration from September's 0.3% increase.

"A solid employment report for October further clears the path for a December Fed rate hike," said Chris Williamson, chief business economist at IHS Markit. "It seems that the only remaining obstacle to the Fed hiking in December would be a significant adverse financial market reaction to the US presidential election," he added.

... "The solid gain in employment and the acceleration in average hourly earnings growth in October will increase expectations that the Fed will hike interest rates in December (assuming that the election doesn't throw a spanner in the works)," said Paul Ashworth, chief US economist at Capital Economics...'

132,000 Lower and lowest paying jobs added

Education and Health Svcs 52,000

Leisure and Hospitality 39,200

Professional and Business Svcs 43,000

All media outlets I read call this a great report but I've yet to see any significant high wage jobs created. Small business creation is virtually non-existent and this segment powers the country's wage growth.

All in all just as pathetic as it looked in the past several months....Why is there such a push for M&A? Because it's the only way to get growth out of stagnation.
