A Political (but not apolitical) Thread

In the hope of maintaining sanity...and keeping the other threads on-topic...here's a new thread where you can discuss politics all weekend long. Please use this post for that purpose.

Last evening, I found myself in the car. While I usually use car time as an escape...where I listen to music or sports radio...last night I found the radio tuned to The Mark Levin Show. Again, I don't usually listen to this program but I found myself interested in the discussion. Today, I went to the Mark Levin Show website (https://www.marklevinshow.com) and found the recorded podcast.

This recording begins with a discussion of the U.S. Constitution featuring current Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. From there, it segues to the observations of Alexis de Tocqueville and Levin's own statement that the U.S. has transitioned into a form of "post-Constitutional soft tyranny". All of this combines to explain the Trump candidacy and why it may succeed.

With the U.S. election just 11 days away, I thought that this audio was something that many folks here would find insightful and relevant. Please give it a listen and then, as mentioned above, let's try to keep the inevitable "political" comments confined to this thread for the weekend.

Comey Theories

1. Wikileaks is going to release better info and FBI is in face saving mode. Weiner was a convenient cover story.

2. Comey felt pressure from FBI resignations

3. TPTB lost faith in the Clinton Crime Family and gave the word to Lynch and Comey to throw them under the bus.

4. Weiner's computer had the Huma's "Insurance Folder" and the dirt was too much to hide, given internal FBI pressure (#2. above)

5. All of the above.

what else have I missed?

I'm sorry to say...

that right now I wouldn't give you a Zimbabwe dollar for Donald Trump's life.

I finally heard from my bud who is 'overseas'.

A short message to say he was OK. He expects a 'purge' after the election. Not by O'bozo but by Trump !

He thinks there will be a 'greater than even' chance that it will 'get out of control' and turn into a 'total cluster f#ck' for liberals with no holds bared and 'pay back' with 'extreme prejudice'. He thinks the most vocal liberals and demorat contributors will be a very 'unwise choice' to hang out around.

Here's the part that made my hair stand up....

I already knew that many more than 'a few' very gifted hackers had been 'turned' by various government agencies to work for them....as 'hackers'. It seems that my friend knows they are all under 24-7 surveillance but that it is 'half-assed' and not considered a high priority....especially in the area of middle east intel and foreign oil. Some have been told to 'stand down' in these areas because they were being handled 'by others'. He is absolutely sure that 'more than a handful' have switched back to activists.

He is convinced that elements in the N$a, FBeye, seeIa and others are so pissed off that the only thing holding them back is the knowledge that leaks can be traced back to them. His last lines were, "If anything happens to me, get the 'F' out of there and don't go back for at least four and a half years. It won't matter anymore where you go. Just GO. You know I have never been paranoid in my life. Well, I am now. The scale of all this makes me wonder how it all got so far along."

One more thing....

If Trump wins,

Watch for the revoking of passports of certain 'political players'.

Watch for increased 'outside the grounds' security at certain foreign embassies.

Be aware of what's in the 'Emergency Powers Act'.

Watch for the financial assets of certain politicos to be frozen.

Above all, think about the amount of damage a former Secretary of State or former President could do in return for political asylum.

Mike Rivero has been hinting at the same thing! The "ENTIRE" government is totally compromised and sold us out!

The Libyan and Syrian affairs, were all not about national security but about political paybacks and self enrichment!

LOL @ Libero

Libero, you think you are clever, but your painfully obvious attempts to deflect are are so comically bad that you actually hurt your cause more than help it. I just laugh at you.

In some ways, you are like the satirical MillionDollarBonus poster on ZeroHedge. The difference is that your posts aren't funny - they're just sad. You don't believe them of course, but the sad part is that you seriously believe that they are making a difference. That, or you are just collecting your $0.50 per post without a care one way or another. I'm not sure which is worse.

Here's a nice treat! GOOGLE KNOWS!

When you type the term "pathological lying" into Google, Hillary pops up as an example!

They are saying that Trump may have majority support, but will lose the election because Trump supporters are too lazy to get off the couch and vote! They are obviously setting up every possible excuse to rig the election, even with Hillary once again under investigation by the WORTHLESS FBI.

HEADLINE: "Trump surges to within 1 percent of Hillary"

My response: Take your 1 percent and stick it, Trump has 85 plus percent national support.

That's how the mind control goes: YIPPEE, IMPRESSIVE!!!! HE "SURGES" TO WITHIN 1 PERCENT! Your mind automatically wants to accept that.

REALITY: "Hillary surges to only 75 points behind Trump." She's a pariah. Not a candidate AT ALL. My guess, as some polls have shown, is that Hillary is behind the third party candidates, taking the position of DEAD LAST.

IMPORTANT: If they are still spewing lies like "Trump surged to within 1 percent" it can only mean that even with the new FBI investigations underway they STILL PLAN TO STEAL THE ELECTION.

This is the early voting chart for Florida. In my post yesterday titled "Do not forgive" I stated Trump had 68 percent of the popular vote in Florida, which was the worst he did anywhere. We also know that Florida is getting massively rigged for Hillary, and absent the rigging, Trump would have exceeded 82 percent. I was not blowing smoke, the chart below for early voting in Florida (with considerably more rigged Hillary votes thrown in) STILL SHOWS TRUMP AT 64.8 PERCENT OF THE POPULAR VOTE.

They can't finish rigging this and get away with it, the sample base is simply too large. It cannot, by all statistical rules, move outside of 2 percent of this, EVER. This seals Trump's victory in Florida. If he does not take it, it will be full confirmation of massive fraud.

This has the feel of mind games.

Who benefits if they scare the hackers from digging into. and revealing what they find in the swamp?

Nevertheless, you may be right to be paranoid.

I'm not the one who was paranoid. My friend is. At least, I wasn't paranoid but if he is, so am I.

He's not afraid of Trump. He's afraid of what might happen when TPTB realize they are in very deep sh!t.

George Washington’s farewell

George Washington’s farewell address:

“Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that man claim the tribute of patriotism, who should labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness, these firmest props of the duties of men and citizens,”

“The mere politician, equally with the pious man, ought to respect and to cherish them. A volume could not trace all their connections with private and public felicity. Let it simply be asked: Where is the security for property, for reputation, for life, if the sense of religious obligation desert the oaths which are the instruments of investigation in courts of justice? And let us with caution indulge the supposition that morality can be maintained without religion. Whatever may be conceded to the influence of refined education on minds of peculiar structure, reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle.” Washington wrote.

Maybe our politicians should share their faith and beliefs while they debate.

Oct 31, 2016 - 8:53am

The other theory I have seen floated is the one that claims this is a smokescreen to keep eyes from wikki/election fraud. Hillary and Huma will be cleared at the last moment to allow them to be viewed as victims and give them an "I told you so" moment. I don't buy this theory but who knows at this point?

Oct 31, 2016 - 9:19am

@James Crighton

Sorry James I should have pointed that out. Canada will undoubtedly benefit from a rejuvenated US market, that I think Trump will achieve. Trump I'm sure will tap into natural resources in the US, that have been off limits because of regulations. But with a vibrant and growing US economy, it would be out of the ordinary for the Canadian resource sector not to benefit. The US will be accessing our resources. The US doesn't need to grow a yuge amount for it to have immediate impact on Canadians, as there's only 35 million of us, and 350 million people in the US. We are 1/10 the size, sitting on the second largest nation state on the planet, brimming with resources.

So Trudeau would have, I think, an economy on an upward trajectory with the election of Trump, without getting off his ass and actually doing anything. But on the down side for Trudeau, Trump would be proving that open competition within the nation state, but fare trade as opposed to what is called "free trade" internationally, is the way to go. Right at the time Trump's tactics would come to fruition, is right when Trudeau would be up for re-election. So looking south of the border and seeing the US economy in high gear, Canadian business would be questioning Trudeau's globalist, free trade agreement signing ass, and hopefully slapping him around a bit.

Hope that makes sense sir.

well, personally, I'm just not going to believe any of this until it's at least 50,000 emails. I mean, seriously, the first 39,000+ emails just weren't very convincing. Didn't do it for me.
