A Political (but not apolitical) Thread

In the hope of maintaining sanity...and keeping the other threads on-topic...here's a new thread where you can discuss politics all weekend long. Please use this post for that purpose.

Last evening, I found myself in the car. While I usually use car time as an escape...where I listen to music or sports radio...last night I found the radio tuned to The Mark Levin Show. Again, I don't usually listen to this program but I found myself interested in the discussion. Today, I went to the Mark Levin Show website (https://www.marklevinshow.com) and found the recorded podcast.

This recording begins with a discussion of the U.S. Constitution featuring current Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. From there, it segues to the observations of Alexis de Tocqueville and Levin's own statement that the U.S. has transitioned into a form of "post-Constitutional soft tyranny". All of this combines to explain the Trump candidacy and why it may succeed.

With the U.S. election just 11 days away, I thought that this audio was something that many folks here would find insightful and relevant. Please give it a listen and then, as mentioned above, let's try to keep the inevitable "political" comments confined to this thread for the weekend.

I say it was an inside job ...

I say it was an inside job that forced the FBI to reopen the case.

I have been telling people in conversations that the Hildebeast and Obama with his most corrupt administration in history will not escape this election year without having some seriously damaging documents and emails being released. As much as I despise and detest D.C. there are still some honest people that work for our federal government. The problem is the private sector doesn't have the lavish retirement packages that the gov't employees have. I have been telling people for over a year that some of these government employees are going to wait until the last minute to release damaging information about all of the scandals because they want to protect their pensions and have the shortest window for retribution for doing so. Also, the last 10 days of the election have the most impact. Email account files such as .OST and .PST files and other files are easy to harvest from anyone on the network. For all we know, somebody inside could have had a copy of Comey's, Loretta Lynch, and many other clowns' email files that were covering up for the Hildebeast. Given a choice, would you want your emails released showing the corruption for covering up for the Hildebeast or let the Hildebeast fry? Comey, Lynch, and rest of the clowns have pensions to worry about and know if Trump is elected, they will be gone anyway. Nobody is willing to fry for that HAG.

All I will say is that when you have full domain admin privileges, you need to be an ethical and professional individual because you can see and control pretty much any data you want for where you have admin control including security logs.

My Tin Foil Hat says it was and inside job by some patriots in our government that caused the FBI to reopen the case. This might be the crack in the dam that is just starting to piss water through the leak. Once a dam is compromised, water is an in credibly powerful force that is difficult to stop once it breaches a structure. Notice that the release was while the Hildebeast was in the air? ... and I am not talking about on her broom.

Cali lawyer or any other barristers, could you answer this?

How quickly can a federal grand jury be impaneled?

After the fbi's previous refusal to acknowledge the obvious wrong doing by Clinton, I saw a couple articles quoting present and past fbi agents saying that it was a complete sham because they never impaneled a grand jury and brought the evidence to them to get subpoena powers and an indictment.

Would that be what they should be doing now? And, if so, how quickly could they get evidence in front of a grand jury and get action resulting from it?

I recall seeing this Kim Dotcom tweet earlier this week. Didn't even think about it again until just now.

Obama Cancel Election ?

I don't see that happening. I could be wrong, but this guy probably can't wait to get out of town with as much loot as possible before the crap hits the fan. Then he could play golf all the time. He's undermined the nation through stealth & lies. Canceling the election is in your face obvious and will generate an extremely strong reaction. IMO that ain't his style.

RE: Hopkins Calls CNN "Clinton News Network"

Perfect example of an attempt (done poorly) to gaslight someone.

'No, I'm not trying to manipulate and abuse you - you're imagining things.'

That CNN pressitute trys to assert that CNN is fair & balanced in their coverage. What a joke. The Brit woman doesn't fall for any of it, of course. - Obama said that those who suggest there is voter and election machine fraud are crazy conspiracy theorists who are imagining things.

Their amateurish psyops are obvious to more people every day. They're so deluded that they probably don't even admit that to themselves.

P.S. - bet this thread will dwarf all others. The upcoming election may be one of the most important in our nation's history. Not only is what's barely left of our republic at stake; peace in the thermonuclear age may also be at stake. At this time, all other topics pale in comparison IMO.

Clinton State Dept Spent 5.4 Million On 'Crystal Stemware',+++

Clinton State Dept Spent 5.4 Million Taxpayer Dollars On 'Crystal Stemware', $630k On Facebook 'Likes'

Authored by Cameron Cawthorne, originally posted at The Washington Free Beacon,

The Republican National Committee revealed Thursday in a 21-page memo that Hillary Clinton’s State Department spent millions of dollars on lavish goods and initiatives on the taxpayers’ dime.

The State Department spent .4 million on a “no-bid contract for crystal stemware” and 0,000 to “increase Facebook likes on four State Department pages.”

The memo also highlighted that the State Department spent more than 0 million on failed projects in Iraq and Afghanistan, the Washington Examiner reported.

The projects included a $3.6 million fleet of “unused broadcast TV trucks” in Afghanistan and $167.5 million on “preventable cost overruns while expanding embassy Kabul.”

The State Department spent an additional $9.8 million on purchases the GOP characterized as “frivolous,” such as the $79,000 in taxpayer funds Clinton’s agency used to buy up copies of President Obama’s book or the $53,004 her agency spent on “marble polishing services” at the U.S. embassy in Brasilia “during the summer of 2010.”

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has previously seized on the State Department’s questionable bookkeeping methods under Clinton when she was secretary of state. In the third presidential debate, Trump said that $6 billion went missing during Clinton’s tenure at the State Department, the Examinernoted.

His comments were likely based on a March 2014 memo from the State Department inspector general in which the watchdog noted contract files for projects worth up to $6 billion had disappeared since 2008. With no paper trail to document the progress of those projects, there was no way for the inspector general to verify that the money ended up in the proper place, the watchdog argued.

This memo plays into Trump’s latest push to “Drain the Swamp” as his campaign seeks to shed light on waste, fraud, and abuse among federal agencies.
