A2A with Bill Holter

What a perfect time for another visit with Bill Holter. There was a lot to discuss and the questions posed by the listeners made for a great conversation. With the current situation seeming rather tenuous, I strongly urge you to take the time to listen.

Among the topics covered over teh course of this call:

  • the situation at DeutscheBank and how this effects other banks and all global markets
  • the vote yesterday to override Obama's veto of the "9/11 Families" bill
  • Bill's personal opinion on the proper allocation of gold and silver
  • whether or not it's a good idea to continue to hold IRA accounts
  • why someone should hold their mining shares in certificate form
  • and a whole lot more

Again, this was anothetr A2A that deserves your time and attention. Please carve out some time over the next few days to give it a thorough listen

@Marchas re my mother's memorial today

Thank you, Marchas! So kind of you to say something and your thoughts are much appreciated. You're the only person here who has made note of my mother's passing. After the mass (I'm no longer Catholic but she was) the priest blessed our gaggle of balloons and we went outside and on a beautiful perfect blue sky day tossed them heavenward, carrying our best wishes for her soul. I take it as a good omen that they quickly disappeared above the treetops.

This community might take note of my mom's passing not for my sake or hers but theirs: She was a stacker to put all other stackers to shame. Did her successful stacking further her life or make her happy? She met a violent end and I was the only one of her children or grandchildren willing to come to today's service much less make arrangements for it.

Back when I used to read Forbes, Malcolm quoted Proverbs: For all thy getting, get understanding.

Appropriate to be posting this on a Bill Holter thread.

Blessings to everybody --

I have already wagered substantially with some of my own clients that Obama will still be president after the official inauguration day on January 20.

The bets are payable on January 21.

I fully intend to make my rounds and collect my booty.

Unfortunately, I bet in dollars, which will probably not be worth all that much.

Your wager in Silver Eagles sounds enticing, and at 5 to 1 odds, if the terms stated above are agreeable to you, I am in.

Bill Holter only placed the odds on an election on November 8.

Personally, I think the madman in the White House can do a considerable amount of damage by January 20. He has a solid plan to continue his presidency through the continuity of government clause. Be it Civil War, or world war, or just a financial Armageddon, he's not leaving. He could even create a "natural" disaster. But he's not leaving.

See you on January 21 st?
