A2A with Bill Holter

What a perfect time for another visit with Bill Holter. There was a lot to discuss and the questions posed by the listeners made for a great conversation. With the current situation seeming rather tenuous, I strongly urge you to take the time to listen.

Among the topics covered over teh course of this call:

  • the situation at DeutscheBank and how this effects other banks and all global markets
  • the vote yesterday to override Obama's veto of the "9/11 Families" bill
  • Bill's personal opinion on the proper allocation of gold and silver
  • whether or not it's a good idea to continue to hold IRA accounts
  • why someone should hold their mining shares in certificate form
  • and a whole lot more

Again, this was anothetr A2A that deserves your time and attention. Please carve out some time over the next few days to give it a thorough listen

Ryder Cup

Wow, Turd!

Knowing your love for the game of golf, you have got to have the concentration of brain surgeon.

I can't even stay focused long enough to watch the spike upwards in PM prices, without switching to Ryder Cup live stream.

And there you are, ripping off all those insightful posts and observations, while no doubt in the background is the sound of golf clapping, drivers smacking tee shots, and discussions about some of the best American and European golfers . . . amazing!

The Treasury Bond Market Is

The Treasury Bond Market Is Breaking Down Right Now

By Jeff Clark
Thursday, September 29, 2016

If you're looking for a short sale today, check out U.S. Treasury bonds.

Two weeks ago, I pointed out that the iShares 20+ Year Treasury Bond Fund (TLT) had been hit with a sledgehammer. It was oversold and likely to bounce in the short term.

But after that move higher, I said that traders should expect TLT to hit the ground again.

Now, we have our second chance to take advantage...

Take a look at this one-year chart of TLT...

TLT sold off hard earlier this month when it broke down from a consolidation pattern. It fell through the support of its 50-day moving average (DMA) – the red line on the chart – and plunged 4% in just a few days.

At the same time, its nine-day exponential moving average (EMA) – the blue line on the chart – crossed below its 50-DMA. This "bearish cross" increases the chances that TLT has entered an intermediate-term correction phase.

Gold is taking off

Actually it´s kind of languishing. Yesterday I was pondering why I had so much more $$ invested in silver rather than gold, thinking I should rebalance more towards a 50-50 allocation based on the coming banking crisis and the natural reflex of institutions and big investors to flee to gold first and foremost and not so much for silver.

So if we are seeing the first signs of the financial debacle in Europe why is silver up 3% while gold can only muster a .6% advance? This so call market is getting weirder by the moment. But hey I´m not complaining about the result so far on this nice morning AG action.

pm spikes

Once again we see the pms whacked for few days / weeks to limit the "technical"effect of subsequent spikes (Likely due to FORESEEN circumstances) these assholes know exactly when DB will fall, they know how it will go down, and what the consequences will be and they will be prepared for it they have planned for it for a long time in my opinion. Imagine where silver gold would be if these spikes were not contained and limited to ensure the moving averages are not breached in any positive manner for example ? where will they go when the USD falls off its perch?

I fear we will not have to wait very long to find out , we are up to our necks in the shit now what a mess I have tried to diligently add to my stash and held a stout PM portfolio thru thick and thin , always convinced that this is the only way I can defend myself and my immediate family from financial disaster, but hoping I would not see the day I would need it , sadly I see disaster on the immediate horizon now - jeez what a mess I usually try and add some humor to the day but its too heavy lately

by Egon Von Greyerz, Gold Switzerland:

The world economy is now at its most dangerous point in history. In virtually every major country or region, there are problems of a magnitude which individually could trigger a collapse of the financial system. Because of the interconnectivity of the system, when the first domino starts falling, there is zero possibility to stop all the other unstable dominoes from crashing one after the other in quick succession.

The world is now staring down a deflationary black hole that is on the verge of sucking into it all global debt of $250 trillion plus unfunded liabilities and derivatives of another $2 quadrillion or so. That would be the end of the financial system as we know it. Governments and central bankers around the world are of course totally aware of this and are standing with their fingers ready to push the button for the biggest money printing bonanza that the world has ever experienced.
