Fifth...and waiting for the axe to fall!

In these "up is down" times, I can't get excited about an improving Ag situation because as soon as I do, the hammer comes down. So I fully expect the world to go up in flames...and Ag to come crashing down in response. Why wouldn't it happen that way?!?

monsanto..........

Hate to see American jobs get cut but, I gotta admit it made me smile a little to see a stepchild of the EE take it in the neck.

Great look at the "un-emploment" of the masses

http://www.shtfplan.com/headline-news/the-shocking-reality-this-chart-shows-just-how-bad-unemployment-is-today-compared-to-the-great-depression_10032015

When you have this much unemployment, what better way to dispose of the "un-necessary" bodies than HAVE a war...

Man, am I to cynical!

This analysis is useless

In my view analysis of the Syrian situation while neglecting the massive world economic collapse that is ongoing is totally useless and very misleading.  What major escalation of the cold war is John Batchelor talking about?  The US economically and in every other way is collapsing, how could they possibly fight a major war with Russia? They can't and won't.  Further, the idea of not considering how Putin has checkmated the US by calling the US bluff in Syria because they are attempting to appear to be fighting ISIS while covertly backing them was not even considered yet it is the cornerstone of what is going on.  So what if some idiots like Ashton Carter make threats towards Russia the US is going to blame Russia for getting rid of ISIS and start a war against them while that is what they are doing? Don't be rediculous it can't happen.  The US is checkmated and that this is not part of this analysis makes the analysis useless in my opinion.  Further, the analysis of the refugee situation and its impact is also useless.  This is not going to cause the collapse of the European Union, its already collapsing economically, politically, militarily etc.  The refugee situation is just the first wave of the massive chaos that is the result of the massive world collapse that is going on as a result of that economic collapse.  Its not just the war that is causing the problem in the middle east it is this financial and societal western civilization ongoing collapse that is the key to understanding what is going on and these people are not even mentioning that instead focusing on it as a potential conflict with Russia and the US, no chance man.

The US is Finished. Period.

The US as a world power, as a force to be recognized in the world is finished! The game is over! Putin has just made a jackass fool of the US and Obama in the middle east.  He has stopped the conflict in the Ukraine.  He and his  Chinese allies have outplayed the West on every front for years now.  The US has no gold, they have no silver, they have no economy, they have no leaders, they are a massively indebted, powerless country who could not fund a real war if they wanted to. Let's face it the emperor has no clothes.  Soon, Putin will expose the 9/11 farce and put the final blow on what was once a mighty and very constructive nation.

U.S. Defense Secretary Ash Carter on Syria

"Carter said he is concerned about the Syrian ground offensive that began Wednesday backed by Russian airpower. Russia, which backs Syrian President Bashar Assad, has hit Western-backed rebels fighting Assad. The U.S. maintains that the only route to peace in Syria is to remove Assad from power."

My comment: F*ck Carter!

I imagine if there was a pol throughout Western Europe I would predict that about 80 to 90% would like to be out of NATO. Trouble is all of Western Europe's governments have somehow or other made themselves vassal states of the US.
