A2A with Willem Middelkoop

76

Just a tremendous A2A earlier today with Willem Middelkoop, author of the worldwide bestseller, "The Big Reset".

Among the topics Willem addresses over this 40-minute call:

  • The current global currency wars and the still-pending eventuality of "The Big Reset"
  • The Chinese yuan and its relationship with the IMF and the IMF's SDR
  • How the US has punished Russia economically and driven it toward a closer relationship with China
  • The ongoing buildout of a new global financial structure dominated by China and the BRICS nations

And much, much more.

I urge you to take the time to listen to this recording in its entirety and then be sure to order the updated version of "The Big Reset" for immediate delivery once it's available next month.

@Joseph Warren

I think that there are plenty of Fed Kool Aid drinkers out there. I'm not one of them, and virtually everyone here at TFMR isn't either. We are a tiny minority, though. For whatever reason, seemingly smart people still think the fed has an exit strategy. When enough people realize that they don't, that will change a lot of things. The shift in perception will cause a big shift in the markets. Personally, I think the market shift will happen well before the majority of the general public is aware of what is going on.

Fed 'Credibility' ?

I really don't get the whole notion of fed 'credibility'. They have none as far as I'm concerned. They're a criminal organization stealing from the population for more than a century. (Of course, everyone here knows that.) - - So, to whom is the 'maintain their credibility' storyline directed ? Does anyone think sophisticated big money overseas is fooled by the feds b.s. ? Does anyone think the leadership in China is fooled ? And as for the US general public, they don't have a clue about any of this - and few of them are in the stock 'market' now anyway. The HFT algos just do their thing. (Ask 20 people off the street how the recent fed announcement impacts their credibility. See those blank looks on their faces.)

I was talking to a friend of a friend recently. Nice enough fellow. Works as a 'wealth manager' - basically sells stocks. He is absolutely clueless - as you'd expect. Ignorance is in his interest. He seems to think the national federal elections are legit and will turn the country, too.

Maybe someone can explain to me the whole notion of 'credibility' and 'loss of confidence' regarding the fed - and to whom exactly that storyline is aimed.

Paul

Paul gave some pretty good responses in the debate (sic). What I hate that is never mentioned is the constant Gov interference and mandates of everything. Get out of my life!

Barfly

Could you elaborate on your shopping spree? vodka label, moonshine, ditto fav bourbon? Also, I agree with Trump and carson being the only real people on stage, however, anyone who has been in politics as long as Kasich is guilty on arrival, imo....I have a Congressmen who has literally been in place for 30 years and successfully sell himself to the dopey libs as "a man of the people.." How? You have screwed them every year. Give me a break. If you have been there that long you are either very corrupt or a blind idiot. I will give a man a break for trying and then leaving out of self-respect, realizing it cannot be changed. But to stick around can only be viewed as corrupt - at the very least, intellectually...

Goldman

Lloyd said it all on Tuesday when asked about the rate hike: :"If it was me, I wouldn't do it."

Monsanto

could collapse spectacularly. They produce a gimic....which is horribly toxic, imo....we are not talking about accounting problems here, or manufacturing, we are talking about a massive intellectual fraud.....they sell Brawndo. It is NOT what plants crave. I just want their to be a run on orange jumpsuit for these MF-ers. I went to an 8 year olds with Leukemia, funeral this week. My friend's wife is battling cancer for 2nd time, sheesh - I must know 10 people. We don't need a cure, we need the cause.....and I would bet my left nut it is "My Saint"....among others..

markets this am

interesting....in dollars indexes are on the bottom trendline, in gold they have clearly busted through....put a fork in the bull, shemitah or otherwise, we are going through 2000, 2008, 2015 allover....it is somewhat like the "day the dollar died" video prognosticated, but in slow motion....Fed goes dovish, then the market participants realize, "this shit won't work.....ever....sell, mortimer, sell....oh, and buy me some gold!!!"
