TFMR Podcast - Thursday, May 14

42

Friday is potentially a very significant day in determining the short and intermediate term direction of the price of paper precious metal. To that end, and in the spirit of Kumbaya and goodwill, I thought I'd make this podcast a public thread for all to listen.

For today, just a discussion of these seven charts. These two of the POSX:

These two showing today's action in gold:

Next, these daily charts fo gold and silver:

And, lastly, the HUI:

Be ready for a very interesting day on Friday.

E-mini vs S&P

Can someone explain how the e-mini and S&P are hooked to one another? Does the ES drive the S&P through arbitrage, the other way around or some other mechanism? We had a very light ES day and the market went wild. Mostly likely buying from the PPT, but what is the best way for them to juice the market? Buy ES?

I also hear they can sell the VIX and that can elevate the market.. does anyone know why selling volatility will cause S&P/ES to climb? I know they are inversely correlated, but I can't figure out how one drives the other.

Thanks in advance for your insight...

GLD barfs out another 4.41 mts of "gold"

The sham/scam/charade egressed another 4.41 mts of "inventory" today. Funny how that happens even though gold is UP 3% over the past two days. Hmmm.

Anyway, for those keeping score at home, 4.41 mts is approximately 141,784 troy ounces

OR

about about 355 of these:

Total "inventory" falls to just 723.91 mts, now up just 13.10 mts YTD.

This guy manages $150,000,000,000. That's a lot. You might find what he has to say interesting:

Interesting yes - but note that the interview is from Sept 2012 - and it is concerning to me that ZH is putting it out as "looky at me sticky post" as if it was from the end of April 2015, when the linked Youtube video was uploaded.

Nobody playing

on this chart except London and New York?

If China, India and Russia are buying, how could you tell?

Are they buying direct from the miners?

Have I missed something here?

Turd and all,

Where did everyone go? The comments on Turd's pod cast and other stories is quite small from what I am used to seeing. Granted I don't post much. There are way to many wiser and eloquent people that usually grace these digital pages. Did I miss some hoopla? Is it just fatigue? God knows I am worn down. But then again I am a soulless stubborn red head that has lost his hair at thirty so... I enjoy the grind. Just checking the pulse of our community and recently it is bradycardic.

Maybe this will fire people up? Jade Helm...dunt dun da...

So here is my feeling first. I understand from my profession ( Special Operations Fire/Rescue, WMD, CBRNE, Hazardous Materials) 12yrs) the concept, reasons, benefits, idea, logistics and such as a training evolution. I am not keen on the scale of it and the depth of integration into civil territory. I am uncomfortable with it and, am not a fan. I have, and do, work with police and Federal agencies from time to time. I don't know any of them we'll enough to have had a beer with them...

Anyway, how many of you actually know anyone that is deployed to this? How many of you know Seals, Special Forces dudes, EOD, "Operators"? I do. I can't tell you they all have a heart of gold but, I can tell you to a man the ones I know are on our side of whatever, who ever, might be cooking up. My brother knows some different ex special something cats. They have their own group doing their own counter surveillance on this thing where they can. I can tell you they are NOT HAPPY about Jade Helm. That feeling is quite well shared amongst the ones I know.

Keep in mind we have the largest, inactive, best trained, special warfare community in the history of the US. What do you think they might happen to start doing with their time and all the interesting materials that happen to be lying around in any town USA? Who and what do you think they might start teaching? It is quite edgy, sad, and uncomfortable when this conversation comes up. But please hold faith that these guys are out there in mass.

Now to the police. That's a different deal. Most the ones I know, or work with, do it for the reasons you would hope. I guess I will just judge them case by case. Where you live ( county, city, metro) has impact on the caliber and character of that police force. I will leave it at that.

Perspective is hard at times on " the things we know, the things we don't know and, the things we don't know we don't know" (sorry couldn't resist, don't care for the man but love that line!)

SS121 · May 15, 2015 - 1:23am

Hondo, re: Jade-Helm etc...

My perspective is similar to yours. I worked with and around those guys from the operators to the 4-star generals for many years. They are very well aware of the anti-American element within our own political system and i've seen many an ill-conceived effort get "slow-rolled" into the OBE (Overcome By Events) never-happen bin.

However, here's something i have not heard mentioned but would not surprise me-

Let's say a complete small element from a foreign military gets inserted into the operation and they just happen to open fire "Sandy Hook" style on a group of "citizens" (crisis actors). The media could pump it 24-7 and try and create a citizens vs the military uprising. Come to think about it... doesn't the FBI have a piece of this? somebody should keep an eye on them. But anyway... if there's a big inciteful event that comes out of this, you heard it here first- time to call Carlos, lol.

A lot of good honest patriotic people have been spun up with a bunch of paranoia surrounding this thing. Maybe to induce a reaction by some lame false flag as described above, or similar. Just a thought on this slow TFMR night-shift.

tptb haven't been doing so well at their divide and conquer riot incitement. The Baltimore follow-ups never really took off. Let's hope anything nefarious inserted into this otherwise lame training exercise gets returned back on their own heads.

Hondo

Hondo,

Thank you for your service. There are still many in this land that recognize sacrifice.

Our nation will be tested, but we will be fine. The core of our citizenry are hard working, God fearing, and have a deep love for the founding principles of this land. We are in this position because we have been led astray. It will take an alarm to rise the nation, but rise we will. Liberty and freedom, and those that fight for it, will always win, because freedom and liberty are the natural state of mankind. Our current political leadership does not represent who we are. That state, like the laws of economics, physics, and thermodynamics can only be pushed so far. Have faith, even though sometimes faith is a giant leap. The statists, bankers, and thieves have no idea who they are messing with!

Dr. P. Metals · May 15, 2015 - 2:41am

I think

its quiet because at this point, there's really nothing left to be done or said (re: metals) that can be done until the game of fraud, lies, deception and theft that is being played ends. I'm guessing most here have by now done pretty much all they can to prepare. Analyzing these "charts" daily really at this point does nothing to further help one prepare for TEOTGKE. All it does at this point is try to discern tea leaves of how close the end may or may not be. IMHO.

As expected, BIS in action today, coordinated with BOJ USD pump

Only question remaining: Which algo is Benoit going to run today? the dump-it-all-early, the dump-it-all-late, the chinese-torture-dump, the fake-pop-and-dump program ? Benoit, again, if you read this world class and super popular blog from Ted our best caller of YOUR manipulation, it would be nice from you to stop by and post your next move, just one time, and offer a few pennies this time not only to your friends but also for the community.

Enjoy your sunset in Basel, best regards from Turdville!

21 million

Since comments are slow...

Some of you may find the work being done by the Bitcoin startup, 21e6, to be interesting. Their idea is to put a light weight bitcoin miner into every internet connected device, actually imbedded into whatever microprocessor is on board. So in the in the "internet of things," your microwave would be hashing on standby power, whenever it is plugged in. The bitcoin generated would be used to pay your ISP, on a continuous basis, so that if the device momentarily required more bandwidth, it would send some bitcoin to both signal the need and pay for the bandwidth.

I love gold. I promote it every day and every where I go, but there are other interesting speculations out there. What did Ray Dalio say? 10%? I prefer about 40% in physical, but that is just me.

Some gold basher on another site was like "Isn't gold just a rock, what do you use it for?" And I'm all like "Yes, gold is a rock. A solid rock that makes a great foundation. It's my cornerstone in fact. Humans use it as a store of value. That is what we use it for."

And what about this idea that the Chinese are hoarding gold, not to back the Yuan, but to take control of the gold market...

I have shown that video to a number of people since it was first put on youtube. I think he says 10% because previous to that he acknowledges the challenge of BIG money moving into gold given the small flow of gold. Imaging a person worth 5 billion that wanted to put 40% into gold (real physical gold) that would be so disruptive to the market the men in black would have to pay a visit. Just the way it is for the big boys

I sent that video out to people for the key point (imho) that he makes about knowing economic history. To put words into his mouth, he is telling the audience they are stupid or ignorant if they don't have some gold, but we already knew that didn't we !

There is an advantage of being small wink

Silver in Yen is moving fast

Silver is at 2090 Yen/ounce. If this trend continues, we are going to break the down line from July 2013. this is the 4st attempt to break this line in the last 2 years. A close above 2130 would be the first higher high since the correction has begun. For the first time since a while, massive intervention from the BOJ to buy USD is not accompanied by a Silver dumping. For now.
