It was a quiet day...a very quiet day...but that's OK because most everything was green...and, frankly, after the crazy volatility of the past two weeks, a nice, quiet day was a pleasant turn of events.
Will things stay quiet tomorrow? Probably not so don't be surprised if this was just a one day reprieve. Watch for some jumpiness at 8:30 ET and the release of the latest US retail sales data. Watch again at 9:15 ET and the release of another Capacity Utilization and Industrial Production report.
