It has almost been a great month. Almost. Maybe by tomorrow, it will be a great month but we must see through the day first. Watch prices tonight in Shanghai. If they can hold firm, then it is very likely that Friday will bring a new monthly closing high for gold and an 11-year closing high for silver.
Again, though, the calendar shows that there are 31 days in May, not 30. As such we have to get through tomorrow first. And there will be important US data in the morning, too, with the latest PCE and personal income/spending reports, too.
