The new week begins with a decent day for Comex gold but Comex silver has yet to recover from the shellacking it took on Sunday evening so where it goes next will be of interest to all of us.
In the end, though, it was a pretty quiet day. Bonds were up and the POSX was down so it's no surprise that CDG rallied $11. Can it extend tomorrow? Probably not. Too much Goonspeak followed by the January FOMC minutes in the afternoon.
