Here's an interesting podcast to start your week. You've heard me mention West Red Lake Gold a number of times over the past few months. It's a very compelling story and the company's CEO, Shane Williams, stops by today to bring us all up to speed.
I never owned Pure Gold but I know from reading the comments over the years that quite a few of you did. West Red Lake Gold was already well on their way as an explorer and soon-to-be producer when Pure Gold went out of business and Pure Gold's loss became West Red Lake's gain as West Red Lake is now the owner of the Madsen Project and all of the infrastructure that is present at/near the site.
So, over the course of this call, Shane explains the exciting potential of his company, including the points below:
- the history and potential of the Madsen Mine
- the brand new infrastructure, including a massive new mill, that is on site
- how the company plans to move forward and resume production
- the untapped potential of their Rowan property
- the industry veterans that are involved at the advisory and board level
As always, you should never take my excitement for a company and make it yours. You must conduct your own personal due diligence, including an assessment of your risk tolerance and time horizons, before considering any investment. You might your start your homework by researching the company via its ticker symbols of "WRLG" in Canada and "WRLGF" in the U.S.
