Something a little different today as I am away from my office and unable to record your regular daily podcast.
So, rather than no podcast at all, here's part one of a conversation I had last week with Frank Giustra. Many of you are already familiar with Frank as he's one of the most successful natural resource investors and mining executives of all time. If you're not familiar with Frank, here's a link to his Wikipedia page:
For part one of this podcast, I asked Frank to provide his current thoughts on the state of the U.S. and global economy, the current path of rate hikes by central bankers and the challenging year that was 2022 for mining investors.
However, be sure to listen to the entire podcast because, toward the end, Frank shares some insights on successful investing in the mining shares. It's good stuff.
Many thanks to Frank for having this discussion. Please be sure to check back tomorrow for part two, where Frank and I go into detail regarding a mining company where he and I are both shareholders. (Of course, his position might be just slightly larger than mine...)
