And now for something completely different. Well, sort of. As you know, I've been adding some uranium exposure for about the past year but I've been wanting to get into lithium, too, as demand for the metal would seem to be quite strong in the years to come.
So, to that end, I jumped at the opportunity to get acquainted with Steve Cochrane, president and CEO of Lithium Chile. Chile and Argentine produce about two thirds of global lithium supply so it would seem that this company is well-positioned to benefit from the "battery boom".
But it's more than just geography. Steve and his team know what their doing and they appear to have discovered a rather astounding potential resource. There's a lot to learn about the lithium market before you get excited and this podcast is a great place to start.
As you do your homework, you're going to want to first visit the company website. Once there, you'll also want to see these links:
And you should definitely watch this video, too.
Now of course, you must conduct all of your own due diligence before considering an investment in anything. You must assess your risk tolerance and your time horizons, too. To that end, please research the company under its ticker symbol of "LITH" in Canada and "LTMCF" in the U.S.
Many thanks to Steve for introducing his company to us. I'm very excited to see where all of this heads from here in 2022 and beyond.
