SPECIAL PODCAST: Neil Woodyer, CEO of Aris Gold Corp.

27

On Thursday, I had the pleasure to visit with Neil Woodyer, the CEO of Aris Gold Corp. I'd not heard of Aris Gold before this week and it's likely you haven't, either. However, if you take the time to listen to this podcast, you'll likely become quite interested in learning more about this unique company.

If you've been around TFMR for long, then you've certainly heard me mention my three primary metrics in evaluating mining and exploration companies:

  • An experienced team
  • A supportive jurisdiction
  • A solid balance sheet

With this in mind, you should take the time to review everything at the Aris gold website. There you'll find that:

  • The team managing Aris is complete with longtime industry veterans, each of whom brings a lengthy track record of success to the company.
  • The primary asset (for now) is a proven commodity in Colombia, a country known for its supportive policies toward mining.
  • The company has cash on hand of over $170MM with pledges for another $100MM in the years ahead. Keep that in mind when you consider that the total market capitalization is just $290MM Canadian.

So I would strongly encourage you to take 20 minutes and give this podcast a thorough listen. Of course, investments in mining companies come with great risk and are clearly not for everyone. You must perform all of your own due diligence and risk assessment before even considering an investment of any kind. Again, more information can be found at the Aris Gold website and on this page, as well: https://www.arisgold.com/investors/events-and-presentations/default.aspx

You can also search for information by using the ticker symbol "ARIS" in Canada and "ALLXF" in the U.S. Thanks again to Neil for his time. I'm very much looking forward to seeing where his company heads from here.
