Thursday Conversation - Dave Kranzler of The Mining Stock Journal

Our old pal, Denver Dave, stops by today to discuss the precious metals and the mining shares. This is one podcast where you should definitely carve out some time to listen.

Again, Dave is a fantastic analyst and money manager. He's been a friend for years and I wholeheartedly recommend his investing journals if you have any interest at all in the markets and the precious metal miners. More info can be found at his website: https://investmentresearchdynamics.com

For today, Dave and I primarily concentrate on a few primary topics.

To these ends, the screenshots below will be of interest as you follow along.

Thanks again to Dave for so generously sharing his time today. I'm confident that you will very much enjoy this podcast.

Empire47, am interested in

Empire47, am interested in your thoughts about digital currency being a gulag. USA has had digital dollar for many years (credit card, debit card, electronic checks). What would you propose instead?

Tech taking banking

I believe the idea of bank-driven pandemic does not square with the facts.

It has been driven by WEF and the tech social media elites (who can censor and cancel) and are becoming payment processors for younger folks. Social media tech will eclipse the banks.

I think it was the Beatles and Paul who said

it best in many songs.

'Takes him out the look at the queen; always shouts out something obscene. Such a dirty old man'

Prince Philip was send to Lucifer with a 10 bob note rolled up his nose

I'd love to play that Monty Python clip as a eulogy at prick Philip's funeral

Are the Maritimes going to have a royal send off for the old sod? Maybe pitching a 21 curling stone salute.

I have a question about covid and herd immunity

I live in Michigan. We are supposedly "surging" in cases of covid. I am listing to The Governator right now and she is claiming that Michigan, population just under 10M, has already administered 5 Million Covid Jabs, so roughly 50% of the population has recieved the fauxxination. I just looked up how many people in Michigan have already had covid and the number that the Googles gave me is 804K. The Governator just told me that herd immunity occurs at somewhere around 70%...

So my question is, if MI is at (5M + 804K)/9.987M = 58.1% of the population fauxxinated + already infected (and, I'm assuming most of those people are now immune), how can MI be "surging" in cases if 70% is the magic herd immunity number? Wouldn't an almost 60% allegedly immune population at least start slowing the spread due to the maths?

This all sounds like fucking bullshit to me and further proof that taking this unproven experimental mRNA jab in the arm is reckless as fuck in terms of your personal health. Can someone please explain this to me so that it makes sense? Because the obvious conclusion here to me is that, given what I am being TOLD by Der Herr, a combination of 1M (or just 10% of the entire MI population) more cases + fauxxinations will = herd immunity and no moar covid seems counterintuitive to the narrative that we are "surging" in cases. The two situations seem mutually exclusive to me. IE: If we really are at ~60% immunity, why and how are we still "surging". We oughta be tapering off quite substantially at this point.

Just like most of the propaganda being put out all over the planet, this makes no sense to me, but, hey, I'm just a dope with a Lenovo living in the Great White North.

Also, keep stackin (just to stay on topic).

poor Prince Philip

Cut short at the tender age of 99. What a blow to the monarchy. Boo-hoo.

If I had to deal with the London press corps for 70 years, I may have acquired the same aspiration.

Discovery name change

Discovery Metals Announces Name Change to Discovery Silver

April 9, 2021, Toronto, Ontario - Discovery Metals Corp. (TSX-V: DSV, OTCQX: DSVMF) (“Discovery” or the “Company”) announces that it is changing its name from Discovery Metals Corp. to Discovery Silver Corp. The Company’s common shares are expected to commence trading under the new name on the TSX Venture Exchange (“TSXV”) under its current ticker symbol “DSV” and on the OTCQX where its ticker symbol will change from “DSVMF” to “DSVSF” at the opening of trading on April 14, 2021, pending final regulatory approvals from the TSXV and FINRA.

Taj Singh, President & CEO, states: “Our name change to Discovery Silver reflects the strong momentum and exceptional results we have reported to date at our flagship Cordero project, one of the world’s largest undeveloped silver resources. It also aligns with the delivery of our updated resource and PEA in 2H 2021 which we expect will firmly position Discovery as one of the go-to names in the silver space through establishing Cordero as one of the few emerging silver development projects that offers scale and margin.

“The name change also follows our inclusion last month in the VanEck Vectors Junior Gold Miners ETF (NYSE: GDXJ) with the underlying designation as a silver pure-play company and the ETFMG Prime Junior Silver Miners ETF (NYSE: SILJ). The inclusion in these indices recognizes both the silver exposure that Discovery offers as well as the tremendous growth in size and liquidity we have delivered since acquiring Cordero in 2019.”

The old bat's cuck kacked off at 99 and change.

I'll try to squeeze out a tear to show my sorrow.

A good piece of advice for those taking shots at Kitco. When a fractional reserve bullion bank is committing suicide, the best thing to do is get out of its way and let it fall.

Damn with faint praise.
