Thursday Conversation - Steve St. Angelo of The SRSrocco Report

An important discussion of silver and energy.

83

Our old friend, SRSrocco, joins us this week for a fascinating discussion of the economy, silver and energy. Steve's perspective is unique within the precious metals sector so please take some time to listen to this podcast.

First of all, you should be sure to visit Steve's site regularly and then consider whether or not a subscription to his valuable service is of interest to you: SRSrocco Report. You can also follow Steve on Twitter @SRSrocco.

I've known Steve for years as he was one of the original members of TFMR back in the day. He started his own site in 2013 and has found much success since. Over the course of this call, we primarily focus upon two subject...silver and energy.

  • the global supply/demand picture for silver
  • surging US silver imports
  • falling yields and grades for silver producers
  • silver leaving the SLV for the PSLV and other physical-only investments
  • the impact global energy supply has on production
  • how historically an exhaustion of energy supplies has led to empire collapse
  • and much more in between

Many thanks to Steve for carving out some time to join us this week. I promise we'll have him back on again soon.

I got a new pace maker on Tuesday March 16

I was hit with bradycardia 5 weeks ago. It's basically a large drop in heart rate. Mine went from a life time average of 70 BPM to around 40-50 average. That basically kicked my ass energy-wise. I'm relatively fit for a 69 year old DOLE GEEZER so walking up a slight grade made me feel like I was trekking up hill at 9,000 with a 50 lb backpack.

It look 5 weeks of stressful cajoling to get into the pace maker surgery queue. These little gizmos are almost as hard to obtain as a monster box of silver. And as long a wait

The surgery went fine. Zip Zop in it went. What I failed to account for was post surgical lassitude. This does involve the heart and happy to know I had one, it was nice to know the ticker was fixable

Two side notes.

First is I came down with pernicious sleep apnea right after surgery, going around 90-95 hours without sleep. That sucks. It appears to be stress and anxiety related as I'm kind of a type A OCD controller freak sort. I also lost 12 lbs in 4 days. Take that Jenny Craig. The body and mind take a while to adjust to a new electronic gizmo with more features than an Apple 12 Ipad and a Tesla S.

Second thing was pretty cool.

Hold my beer you cannot make this shit up.

These new Gen 4 Brainwave Biotronic pace makers have an always-on RF transceivers with 24/7 connection to the Borg Collective. I now know why resistance is futile because I was assimilated. Just call me Locutus. My cardiac doc told me it would take a few days for the full assimilation transfer and I could expect a bumpy ride. No shit Sherlock. I feel like Riddick when the Lord Marshall of the Necromongers tried to rip out his soul.

I got two Coded Optionals for a small extra charge.

1. My 9mm is now a plasma phaser in the 40 watt range, set to stun. Gotta get that upgrade to MORTIFY

2. I can connect with the GooglePLEXAIMATRIX info system.

It's has 15 petaflops of data instantly downloadable via the 54 bit QUBIT mainframe from the SLC data complex.

I learned Jeet Kune Do from Bruce Lee, brushed up on my rusty Choi Li Fut Gung Fu, moving up to 5th level Grand Master, found a recipe for the perfect Manhattan and can now fly an Apache helicopter.

I'm not sure if the tradeoff was mutual or fair but Furians take it where they can find it

Re: Vaccines

Same here. I don't judge any vaccine takers or givers. I just have my own concerns, some of which are:

1. Why is it that vaccines are the only product on this earth (that I currently know of) the manufacturer of which cannot by sued for any damage to you by the product?

2. I am 53 years old, only vaccinations I have had (from childhood, so I had no choice in the matter) are BCG and polio. I started taking the annual flu vaccine in 2004, and stopped in a couple of years. Each time I took the vaxx, I fell ill. After I quit (and even before 2004), I have never had the flu. In fact, I have a record at my workplace of being the only guy ever, that has not taken a single sick day off (Touche!)

Great post Craig

Steve St. Angelo is always a good listen. His assertion that EROI will prevail certainly helped me see the biggest of big pictures. Thanks Steve!!

Love the insight on the fall of the Roman Empire. When you consider the volume of lumber consumed; then the likely prehistoric age of the trees (BIG) you get a idea as to the size of the operation and the conditions.
.... hardly the equivalent of today's "eating at your desk" long day at work.

My best to you all.

Opposite experience

I have a great uncle who has had lifelong musculoskeletal issues attributed to the polio vaccine. I firmly believe in doing what you can to build your own health before letting the medical practitioners have their way with you. It is just from my experience of seeing people who neglect their health and then want to to blame some outside factor for causing their condition. I am well aware that there are medical conditions that are beyond a persons control but what I have experienced is that everyone is looking for quick fixes that may have unintended consequences. In the video that I posted there is a part where he is talking about one of the doctors that did the research and she made a prediction of a large increase in cancer cases in the years following the polio vaccination. She also died a very suspicious death after she started talking publicly about her belief that there would be a future spike in cancer cases. From what I see that might have been a correct prediction. The lecturer also talks about the possibility of the large increase in autoimmune diseases since that time too. These are just my reasons for jo wanting to take a vaccine that was created so quickly. Like I said I am not judging people that want to take the vaccine I just have my concern with it being made mandatory.

I nail my hopes & dreams to Cardano. Charles Hoskinson is the Second Coming as far as I'm concerned! Built from the ground up and peer reviewed every step of the way. Solving real world problems, especially for the planet's most impoverished residents. "They need banking, but they don't need banks." As CH says. A mission I heartily throw my pandemic-depleted weight behind. Buy it, stake it, receive interest in it!

Solar Panels.

Seek out and watch "Planet of the Humans" by Michael Moore.

I haven't quite figured out what MM's angle is (he always has one) but without understanding that angle .. he has produced a useful thought piece which simply destroys the entire Green plan and it's unrealistic future.

CHR too.
