SPECIAL PODCAST: Scott Melbye, CEO of Uranium Royalty Corp.

12

Well, here's a first. Over the years, we've interviewed plenty of gold and silver mining executives but never anyone from the uranium industry. And why would we? After Fukushima in 2011, the nuclear energy industry suffered a lengthy bear market. But interest and demand is returning so I figured, why not?

Rather than foray into uranium miners directly, I thought that this play on the sector might be more interesting. Uranium Royalty Corp is the first and only (so far) royalty company that focuses solely upon uranium. They don't go out and search for it, choosing instead to invest in royalties on the future production of uranium mining companies.

So here's Scott Melbye, the CEO of Uranium Royalty Corp., to explain what his company does, how they do it and why the sector is set to see dramatic growth in the years ahead.

The stock trades in Canada with the symbol "URC" and in the US with the symbol "URCCF". As you conduct your mandatory personal due diligence, you can find all sorts of information at the company's website: https://www.uraniumroyalty.com

Here are a couple of links you should be sure to check:

Thanks again to Scott for spending some time educating us on his company and his sector. We'll be sure to keep in touch as 2021 progresses.

URCC --A play on the revival of nuclear energy over candlelight.

Marin Katusa had this stock as a private placement about a year ago and I got interested in it at the time. I had to open an account with Interactive Brokers because they have a seat on the Canadian exchanges and the OTC stock had not yet come to market. I bought 1000 shares and 5000 of the 2024 $2cad warrants shortly after they went public and the stock had backed off a it from it's initial offering price. So far, it's been a very successful holding and the news from the company keeps getting better and better. Looks like Katusa may have gotten this one right.

Bix Weir sees major action on Wed Feb 24

Go to 4:30 minutes in until 7:00 min

Also, the commercial users of Silver must be concerned. It could even be Musk at Tesla who's decided to get into the Silver market and hold for physical delivery. Once the manufacturers of electronic gizzmos start stockpiling (hoarding) silver, the POS will go parabolic.

Why would anything change

There is no metal at these prices. However, digital price continues to go down. The banks will price the metals what ever they want. Nothing matters in this minipulated market! The miners have been dead money since last August!

Let's be clear, the only bank

not panicking is JPM. They're the only ones with a physical stache. They loan it out to other bullyingbanks, but retain the rights to the physical. Remember Bear Stearns? Rescued and absorbed by the JPM Matrix, then given a 'get out of jail free' card by El Presidente, together with a pair of Vice Presidential cufflinks if you remember. (Re-listen to yesterday's Ed Steers podcast.)

So they're standing by for a major price rise; they'll stop lending physical; they'll issue margin calls to the other banks; they will make the other 7 'participants' fail, then ride in on their white horse and white hat, and take over as much as they can. And getting the best terms they can from Joe, probably another card, stating that they are absolved from all the crimes they have already committed, and all those they may commit in the future. (Apologies to Pope Urban 2nd, for paraphrasing when he spoke to the Templars before launching the Crusades.)

The spread between

paper gold and spot gold is widening. So I've got spot @ 1784.5 and the April futures @ 1783.2, giving up a $1.3 spread. Why aren't the big money bankers taking up the option to sell today, and buy back more cheaply in the future? We know why. They can't guarantee the physical will even be available in the future at that price.

Silver isn't yet quite at that stage, but its narrowing considerably. Now only about 5c between the prices, and likely to go into backwardation any day now. It was around 20c last week.

EVERY little rally in CDG is getting immediately smashed and driven backward.
