Thursday (Friday) Conversation - David Jensen

The #SilverSqueeze movement has been rolling for a couple of weeks now and it has certainly been interesting to watch. However, for it to have a long-term impact, we must continue to draw physical metal away from the Bullion Banks and force a de-leveraging of the fractional reserve pricing scheme.

It is in understanding this that I reached out to David Jensen this week. You'll recall that David is an expert precious metals analyst and that he played a vital role in documenting and explaining the #PalladiumSqueeze" of 2016-2020.

So let's bring this full circle. Can silver ultimately be squeezed in the same manner as palladium? Recall palladium saw its price move up 5X as The Banks were forced to unwind leveraged short positions and source actual, physical metal, instead.

If this were to happen in the weeks and months ahead, what would be the signs and signals to look for? For that answer, we turn to David. Please be sure to give this podcast a thorough listen and note the chart below when he mentions it in the second half of the podcast.

Thanks for listening and sharing.

I did not know there was a

I did not know there was a separate crypto forum. As stated, I signed back up 2 weeks ago after lurking after the site went to paid subscriptions. I'll take my crypto comments elsewhere for future posts.

Feb 13, 2021 - 5:56pm

there really is

SO much more going on in the 'cryptoverse!' Yes, it is similiar to the 'wild west days' of the internet. And Yes, tptb will [try] to 'twist' it to suit their ends. Yes, the announcements of large investments WREAKS of pump and dump. The futures market are established, so we have a good idea but, the sudden ramp in price is NOT do to the tech, it is symptomatic of a broken financial system. The pioneers of crypto truly were concerned with FREEDOM & LIBERTY! And that is EXACTLY why it is MORE than RELEVENT to this site!

Sorry if I contributed to

Sorry if I contributed to this. I know this is a metals forum but I also think all of wish to build or preserve wealth so every now and then there may be a need to interject. I havent commented here since the old pre-subscription days and by the Grace of God and forums like this I have been able to build a nest egg that includes physical silver gold as well as slv, GLD, and.....

I didn't understand Libero's original post, but then I thought you did. It's all double Dutch to me.

Nothing will get done about

Nothing will get done about crypto talk until subscribers start leaving. It's a business so if you can attract more subscribers that want to talk about cryptos vs lose subscribers that only want to talk about PMs then that's where this site is headed. With BTC at $47K it's becoming more relevant in everyday financial circles so it just can't be ignored anymore. With gold having done nothing for the past 10 years can't blame people for losing interest in a loser investment.

Empowering the stakeholders...it was a joke by me

I just strung together a bunch of corporate bullshit words as an explaination of what LINK is doing.

This is a REAL QUOTE from what is chainlink?

Chainlink was created to address this issue by incentivizing data providers (called “oracles”) to act as a bridge between blockchain smart contracts and external data sources.

It is not a steaming pile of horseshit? Can you decipher the meaning, purpose, or value of Chainlink?

This crypto house of cards will come down.

Crypto posts ...

I'm confused by the venom against crypto posts. Posting here is not a zero sum activity. Just because someone posts about cryptos, it does not preclude a PM post. The space for both is essentaily unlimited.

It seems like PM investors fall into 2 general groups. Those who buy and hold, pretty much forever and those who do some trading of physical and mining stocks. Ultimately, however, the goal is to make money and survive TEOTKE.

I don't have an interest in cryptos but I applaud those who have found a way to cash in. I don't have an interest because I constantly am reminded that Fait currencies have a track record unblemished by success. Cryptos, in my mind, are the "fiatest" of the fiat. Cashing in on cryptos means being able to cash out. I don't have the time or patience to hover over them and stress about how and when to bail with some winnings. The exit from cryptos (and stocks) is going to look like a Black Friday sale where the store is selling 60" TVs for $20. When? When TPTB decide it's time (after they have snuck out the back door).

Meanwhile, the posts "Karening" about too many crypto posts are every bit as annoying as the crypto posts. Just sayin'
