Friday Conversation - Denver Dave Kranzler

70

It's always great fun to visit with our old friend, Denver Dave. In the absence of your regular daily content today, please carve out some time to give this podcast a listen.

Over the course of this call, Dave and I tried to focus upon three main topics:

  • the current situation and the continuing Bank efforts to control price
  • what's next for The Fed and the other CBs as they fight deflation and illiquidity
  • where the mining shares are headed in Q4 and into 2021

And here's that long-term chart of the GDXJ that we discuss:

Once you've listened...and if you're looking for additional audio...I ask that you turn your attention to the podcast below. It was recorded back in Wednesday and I recall feeling like it went pretty well. Trevor does a great job and yours truly felt particularly well-rested and lucid that day.

Thanks again to Dave and Trevor for their help with these podcasts. I hope you have a great Friday and a relaxing weekend.

My neighbor just told me that my earlobes are the same distance apart as my nipples so now I'm topless and looking for my measuring tape

Your right

I didn't research the images well enough. I'll keep that in mind for the next round. I can confirm that both flood gates and internal passages have suffered heavy wear. At least 3 of the gates have been emergency patched and are currently not operational. Still waiting on reports for how many internal passages are damaged. Most of the debris has been cleaned out of the intakes . It looks like the main threat of flooding is coming to an end. It is interesting that they are allowing the dam to fill to it's upper limit. After such a eventful flood season. One would think they would let it drop to a lower level to conduct inspections and repairs (as is normal for any dam). Especially to spillways that suffered heavy wear.

DXY - Balancing on 93

If you want to amuse yourself late on a Friday, check out the tightrope at 93 that the Dollar index is walking. Will it hold or will it fall?

Dave's Mining Stock Journal

Anyone who wants to dabble in the mining shares should be a subscriber to Dave Kranzler's MSJ. Two thumbs up from me.

I have been a subscriber for a couple of years and have realized some very nice gains on several stocks that Dave recommended. I personally don't have the time or expertise to do detailed deep-dives on any of these stocks, so the MSJ is a great resource.

Good Thursday conversation (on a nice Friday with Gold up!).
