Friday Conversation - Denver Dave Kranzler

70

It's always great fun to visit with our old friend, Denver Dave. In the absence of your regular daily content today, please carve out some time to give this podcast a listen.

Over the course of this call, Dave and I tried to focus upon three main topics:

  • the current situation and the continuing Bank efforts to control price
  • what's next for The Fed and the other CBs as they fight deflation and illiquidity
  • where the mining shares are headed in Q4 and into 2021

And here's that long-term chart of the GDXJ that we discuss:

Once you've listened...and if you're looking for additional audio...I ask that you turn your attention to the podcast below. It was recorded back in Wednesday and I recall feeling like it went pretty well. Trevor does a great job and yours truly felt particularly well-rested and lucid that day.

Thanks again to Dave and Trevor for their help with these podcasts. I hope you have a great Friday and a relaxing weekend.

Golf

Wow, looking for a second property in SC to be closer to our grandchildren.

I was packing my bag last night to see this one just gone on the market.

Thought the HOA fees, at $134/month, were a little high but bearable.

No, my son texted me that we would have to join the golf club at $18,000 plus $16,000 per year.

Unpacked suitcase.

HAHAHAHAHA funny ads

I guess my Chris Columbus real man rug ain't gonna cut it in the intersectional Cis-gender, critical race theory LGBTQ+2 monkey f*** laboratory.

Gonna have to pack up my privileged white male Dole Geezer fuzzy butt back to the bat cave, chillin' with the trampolining nudist hotties who like a man of means, spreadin' around quantum stacks of folding jack like they're post it notes, providing a deep stacked open bar for all those who like good grog while chillin' with the precious metal homies who are totally down with the good life

Yep, that's me.

No adult beverages were much harmed in the production of this screed.

Damn, I really do miss the 15th century.

Follow on to 100 years between KKK and BLM

100 is a very powerful number. Methusah traded on his age, at best 100 years, claiming to be 700. When you use 100 years as a bench march it's beyond any living human's recollection much less experience.

For the 95 to 99% of the people who don't read or understand history (this site notwithstanding) 100 years is sooooo yesterday. Yawn. Boring

But 100 represents an interesting number I noted today

25th Amendment

25 days to election time

25th Amendment can remove a president

25 days can remove a president

here are some pretty powerful numbers

2 and 5

2 + 5 is 7

2 x 5 = 10

5 x 5 = 25

2 x 2 x 5 x 5 equals 100

There are no accidents in politics

It's not how you start the week

it's how the week ends. On a really nice high note

One small word of caution. Reticent to note. 3 day weekend including Columbus day, a bwanker time off. Lucy has been seen lurking in the shadows with football in hand. Stay back demon!
