Thursday Conversation - David Brady

50

Trader and analyst David Brady stopped by today for an interesting and informative discussion of precious metals, QE∞ and the long road ahead. This is a free thread so you should be sure to listen.

I've known David for a few years now and I'm happy to consider him a friend. He monitors the markets every day and you can follow him on Twitter through the handle @GlobalProTrader.

For this call, David and I primarily focused upon three core topics:

  • How does David view the macro picture? Is QE truly to infinity and is stagflation coming?
  • What impact will "Yield Curve Control" have on the precious metals?
  • Is there value in trading while diligently maintaining a long metals exposure?

You may note a few bits of editing in the audio as I had some unusual recording issues on my end today. Hopefully it doesn't distract you from what should be a very valuable use of your time.

Lift off

You're right! I just found a 'lift off' image real quick from my phone. Trying to work my 9-5 and trade at the same time. Liking what I see so far as I read Turd's morning update. I had to say something about that nice little spike in CDG and CDS. Let's hope it keeps going today.

Lift Off

Maybe Space X Dragon launch would have been a better illustration?

@silverseeker

I've been following Rough Rice all month -- I, also, couldn't find any news to explain. My guess is that all the Covid-19 cases in Spain caused a massive cancellation of Paella Festivals . . .

Good thing silver is the 'no-brainer' for the next few years

Because the last 10 years and 1,000 opinions of why silver has not gone to $100 has given me dain bramage. Love the smell of silver rising in the morning. It smells like victory. It'll be worthy of popping a bottle of the bubbly if AG hits $20

The recovery will be a W W at best. What? What!

If it's W W W we'll be totally fooked

I'll give the ECB kudos for trying to revive the banks, corporations and spending with the TLTRO trillion euro high colonic and a forced 50 km march backwards through the Brandenburg Gate

Now for a vicariously up close and personal listen to Sprott, courtesy of Craig. When a billionaire talks shop it's prudent to give it a listen.
