SPECIAL PODCAST: Amir Adnani of Gold Mining, Inc.

It's FOMC day and while we wait for CGP, his fedlines and his press conference, here's some audio to help you pass the time.

I've known of Amir Adnani and his company for years but I've never had the chance to visit with him before. I know that both Marin Katusa and Rick Rule speak highly of him so, when I was offered this podcast earlier this week, it seemed like perfect content for a day like today.

Amir is the founder and chairman of a company called Gold Mining Inc., though you may recall that at one time it was called Brazil Resources. Either way and like so many others, the company made it through the rough patch of 2017-2019 and has emerged on the other side stronger than ever with over 25,000,000 possible ounces and no debt. The chart looks pretty good, too.

More information on Gold Mining, Inc. can be found through these two links. As always, I strongly encourage you to conduct all of your own due diligence before considering the addition of shares which trade in Toronto under the symbol "GOLD" and in the US with "GLDLF".

But don't forget that it's FOMC day. So in this podcast, Amir and I also discuss central bank policy, the ongoing destruction of fiat currency and the likelihood that this bull market in the precious metals is just barely getting started.

Thanks for listening,

Contrary Intuition ?

Picked up 100 contracts SLV June 26 18 calls at 0.14 I see them frantically pushing down at 18 AG and I would bet a dollar to a pinch of shit "they" already know exactly the what's in Feds minutes and if it's pm positive could see us finally making a run for AG 19

Both CDG and CDS have been driven backward despite a continued rally in bonds. CDG now $14 poff its highs and CDS down 28¢.

This is actually VERY good news. My concern earlier was that this rally was taking place BEFORE the FOMC. In my experience, this is NEVER a good sign. Instead, there have literally been countless occasions...beginning with QE2 announced in November of 2010...where price is smashed before the FOMC news.

Stated more plainly....We are definitely more likely to see some sort of big news today that drives the PMs higher if prices are smashed in the hours before.

That this is occurring while bonds are rallying gives me even more confidence that this is correct.

and then, after capping $18 spot for ten minutes

It immediately falls over 1%

And this cap&dump in spot drags the Jul20 back under $18, too. Neat trick, huh?

Maybe it's the double "D" part that roped them in.

Here they come... Silver at 18.04 and Gold at 1728.20

Watch your ass if youre in the casino on a rental

Id love to pick up some JDST but staying away.

Im going to let it play out then swoop in for a sale on JNUG....looks like 80s handle is possible

EDIT: Silver 17.995 then back to 18.01 quickly....this has the feel of a let go at 10cst. JNUG LOD is 90.36. Im going to submit a JNUG stink bid at 86 on the anticipation of a waterfall. Prolly wont get hit, but

EDITS EDIT: Taking a chance here...in JNUG at 89.60...this is a super short rental. Measured in minutes.

EDIT: out at 90.45....flat again. I was in it 90 seconds.

Jun 10, 2020 - 10:34am

And you didnt even drop one

And you didnt even drop one play? Come on lay the cards out?

Jun 10, 2020 - 10:33am

in case you missed this earlier

Just in case you were wondering who was short the May20 crude when it was allowed to go to -$40..... https://t.co/2icS7JzynW

Just a general observation

Just a general observation watching the ebb/flow of things this morning with a warning:

Miners are under pressure, big time. HOD gold silver and LOD GDXJ/JNUG

Anytime silver dips JNUG is reacting to the downside very quickly

Anytime silver jumps JNUG is very very slow to react to the upside

If the bastards do smash it could be a very very ugly miner day. Might be skittishness in the trading world with FOMC coming but I dunno.

Bottom line is if youre playing in the casino watch your 6

I got out and got back in at JNUG 92.69...then it shed a quick $1. Im probably going to exit on the next bounce, take my small loss, and re enter

EDIT: got out at 91.18....just dont like the looks of this. Staying flat

Fed Decisions

Over the past couple years I have cashed up a chunk of my folio a week or two before the Fed meetings and then buy back the morning of the press release - its been a winning strategy most of the time - can only think of one occasion where it went badly against me. Following that pattern, I cashed up 20% of my folio just over a week ago and have been waiting for today to buy back. Interestingly, the shares I sold are within pennies of where I sold- this is unusual as there is usually a hit before the Fed meeting and some share gain on my repurchase. Secondly, the metals have not been dragged down in the past 48 hours as expected......this has my antennae sensing something ain't right....

I've decided to sit until after the meeting and see where things go - it could work against me but I have a tingling sense that we are being set up for a post-Fed slam. I doubt it lasts more than 24 hours but I'm guessing now that the buy opportunities this time will be after the meeting and not before????? I could be totally wrong and shares explode higher leaving me in the dust, but it just doesn't feel right this time around - I'm sitting on the sidelines this time around - I'm still 80% invested so I still have significant exposure either way.
