Tuesday Conversation - Brent Johnson of Santiago Capital

CEO, Portfolio Manager

Following Monday's podcast with Luke Gromen, I thought it would be fun to next visit with our old friend (and fellow Cornhusker), Brent Johnson. For this discussion, Brent and I cover several of the same topics as yesterday while incorporating Brent's unique perspective on the markets.

So for this podcast, Brent and I begin with the same Krugman tweet that Luke and I discussed yesterday:

Repeat after me: debt is money we owe to ourselves. It doesn't make the nation as a whole poorer. https://t.co/yyAkexUV0N

— Paul Krugman (@paulkrugman) May 22, 2020

From there, we discuss:

  • the liquidity-driven necessity of QE∞
  • the impact of an official yuan devaluation
  • global demand for dollars driving its relative value higher
  • whether QE∞ will ultimately be inflationary
  • the possibility of global stagflation
  • and quite a bit in between

Many thanks to Brent for being so generous with his time. I think you'll find this podcast to be extremely interesting and thought-provoking.

This is probably my favorite AR, I got a limited edition in green and black tiger striping. Hogs just lay down when hit by this.

It's almost like the banksters

don't want people trading in their fiat for sound money, depriving said banksters from synthesizing 10x new paper derivatives on the sheeple's deposits. Now there is a conspiracy theory for you.

Keltec KSG etc

Just looked on Budsgunshop.com, all Keltec shotgun variants are out of stock. If someone finds a source, please PM me (or post for all.) Asking for a friend. Seriously. I'm flush already.

Shitco (and elsewhere) -- pumping ABN Amro.

Talkin' Dutch: Au at 1575, end of Q2 (June.)

Sayin' Dutch:

"Long-term, ABN Amro is not that bullish on gold, projecting the yellow metal to finish Q3 at $1,650 an ounce and Q4 at $1,700 an ounce. In 2021, the Dutch bank is more bullish, penciling in gold trading at $1,800 by year-end. "

Not that bullish "long-term?" Why? And, what the f*ck does that mean?

Long-term capital placement covers a period of 10 years (~.) Public's linguistic reservoir, i.e. long-term, entirely polluted.

Didn't know there was a fore grip with a light, thanks for the heads up...I'm ordering one tomorrow.

On another note I was out at my farm today and saw the damn hogs have returned, I'm going to head out next week with my knights Armament AR-10 with thermal scope and suppressor and light them up.

A great post today -- one of his best!

He covers new evidence out of Italy the coronavirus may be losing strength

He covers Turkey using hydroxychloroquine effectively

He covers mounting evidence the coronavirus may be man made

He covers potential criminal action by the NIH in the Covid-19 spread

He covers mounting evidence the Lancet study (against HCL) is bogus

and finally, he takes on the Fed

Is Covid-19 Over?

You're right, I shouldn't

You're right, I shouldn't have bothered. It was a mistake.

But I will say I wouldn't mute anyone. You could learn a useful or informative thing from anyone .

@Mickey

It's definitely light, maneuverable, and powerful. I hope I never have to witness its efficacy . . .
