Golden Jackass Time

79

It's a three-day market holiday weekend so you know what that means....a visit from The Golden Jackass, himself...Jim Willie. The last time we spoke was New Year's Eve and that seems like freaking years ago so, as you might expect, this is an update that you're going to want to hear.

Oh my gosh. It's always interesting to talk to Jim and he sure didn't disappoint today. This discussion is loosely based upon the three primary points below. However and in true Jackass style, you're going to get a lot in between.

  • We've discussed QE∞ for years and now here we are.
  • Have we arrived at "The Big Reset"? Will there now be a debt jubilee?
  • What has Jim heard about the current events in London and New York. Is the bullion bank pricing scheme beginning to fail? Will gold be re-monetized in the next iteration of a global monetary system?

Thanks for carving out some time to give this a listen. I hope you have a safe, relaxing and peaceful holiday weekend.

graphic...

I find these charts easier to read and they are free. Looks like large specs and commercials locked in place. Key question is whether the commercials start shorting again to begin the next wash-rinse cycle. But looks like we're more or less washed out here?!

intermediates...

better yet... why couldn't somebody just buy a silver contract, as i've done, stand for delivery, take delivery of those 5 X 1000 oz bars then smelt them into 100 oz bars, go out on ebay & sell the little bars for $4 over spot (current market) and pocket a cool, risk free, $20,000?! Might be some overhead for the transportation and smelting...

Is it merely that the refiners are closed? I'm sure you can find somebody on this side of the pond, not currently in lockdown to do it for you...

Just sayin.

For those who feel the virus is a hoax

they are looking for many volunteers for the ICU units in New York City. You can even save the hospital in personal protective equipment. Some cruise ships would welcome your help as well.

Yanno Boggs, I'm with you on that score

Yesterday, in two totally different conversations with two very long time friends, one made it clear he thinks this virus is totally bullshit and made up to scare us shitless, cowering in our homes, afraid to come out and be with our friends, socialized, socialize, get back to work and get back being human beings and not scared little rabbits huddling and shaking in our caves and warrens.

This man is a former Marine, retired Lt Colonel with a rack of war fighter ribbons including Bronze and Silver Star. Smart as heck and seeing this bullshit scam for what it is

He's so tough the virus gots a picture of this Marine on the wall of the bug lunch room that says

'Avoid dude. He's bad ass and WILL absolutely fuck up your shit!'

The other friend has gone bat shit crazy with fear, going through the CDC website which does nothing but scream "BE AFRAID, BE VERY AFRAID' and other sites that tell him he must dig a hole in the ground, cover himself with a blanket and cower for the rest of his life because he might get the virus

FUCK THE VIRUS

We have turned in a nation of shivering shaking cowering cowardly waffle eating pussies, listening to the bobble heads tell us we need to social distance, listening to the politicians who tells us STAY HOME OR WE WILL MESS UP YOUR SHIT and while you are at it please go broke quickly while hiding in our hovels and huts, sheltering in place like an bunch of two year olds terrified that the boogie man will get us because we are your leaders and rulers and we will tell you what you need to do to lose every freedom you ever had.

And that little piece of paper called the Constitution

Fuggedaboudit. HAHAHA. Joke's on you. We piss on your Constitution.

When I'd listened to more than I cared to my second friend, the one fearful of stepping outside his home in fear that the big bad bug will jump on his scrawny ass, I said in the simplest terms
Joe--what the fuck is your major malfunction? You used to have some balls.

Do you want to live your life on your knees, cowering before some scumbag politician who is telling you how to live your life? He lives in Cali and that state, in and of itself, is a disease that proves fatal to anyone who has a shred of dignity and masculinity

Or do you standing up, not willing to live a life filled with fear, walking in the sun, living life as a man, knowing that life is sometimes dangerous and knowing full well that if you lived your life according to your rules; not ruled by some self style Caesar with a $200 hair do, who orders you to obey, and knowing that some day something will kill you; one day you will die. That happens. But in knowing the certainty of that you accept the consequences of life you still live life on your terms, standing upright and tall.

He was pretty silent after that. Maybe that was a come to Jesus talk he needed to hear. Time will tell.

I didn't tell him to grow a pair, knowing he has a pair. I basically told him to find the pair that God gave him and start using them.

BTW Both men are 75 YO

vent off

"He also said, that the sellers can't sell gold at spot price, because they can't find buyers there, therefore they go to the futures market, where the buyer is always there.......I have no idea what to think of that."

Total BS. Firstly the Comex virtually never sees physical delivery on metal, i.e. there are not normally physical buyers there. Secondly, if it was true, shouldn't commercial short interest should be shooting up as they sell forward gold on the Comex?

IMHO, he's just demonstrated that he's nothing but a propaganda agent for the banks.

Apr 11, 2020 - 9:42am

A reflection of the time in which we are living

Really remarkable CoTs. So unusual. Comex Digital Gold was up $87 for the reporting week. Comex Digital Silver was up $1.32. Any other time in history would have shown a surge of Spec buying and Commercial shorting. ANY OTHER TIME.

So, what to make of this? We can discuss on Monday. But it seems clear that The Banks are reticent to provide new contracts. Thus, prices rose to find sellers of existing contracts....instead of Banks simply adding new contracts to the float. This is how it's SUPPOSED to work. Maybe we're finally getting somewhere?

CDG Large Spec NET long FELL by nearly 10,000 contracts. It's not back to the levels last seen when this breakout rally above $1300 began back in late May of last year.

And for $1.32 in CDS...more than 8%!!...barely any change.
