Thursday Conversation - David Morgan

30

With Comex Digital Silver prices crashing to 12-year lows, I figured that it would be an excellent time to get David Morgan in for his perspective on the madness.

I hope you find this discussion helpful. Over the course of this call, I ask David to address:

  • the forces that have driven prices to these levels
  • capital preservation strategies
  • how he thinks this all plays out in the end

For more assistance from David, please check out the valuable information at THE MORGAN REPORT

Thanks for listening.

100oz bars

I've been following these on Provident for over a year - buy back up to the summer was spot, then it was 0.50 under spot from summer until yesterday - today it jumped up to 0.50 over spot. That's a $1 swing overnight. Looking at JM 100oz poured bars.

Moriarty can read text books on commodities trading...

I'm sure. What he spews forth is a regurgitation of how futures markets are supposed to work.

He apparently has no idea how they really work in today's corrupt financial environment. For example, how position limits, which do not really exist in silver and gold, are supposed to prevent speculators with limitless sources of income (governments and the banks they authorize) from manipulating markets.

I don't think he is a shill, just a shrill know-nothing about real commodity markets and how they really work today, who thinks because he is a decorated war hero, everyone should bow to his expertise.

I might point out

He may consider himself an "expert" but the FINRA website has no record of any "Robert" or "Bob" Moriarty ever holding a Series 3 license.

https://brokercheck.finra.org

I'm sick and tired of people (even some on this site) holding him in high regard. Why? What has he ever done? Just because he's been around for a while doesn't make him smart. And how about the thousands of dollars he collects from mining companies for his "services" of pumping their shares? How come he's above reproach for this stuff?

He criticizes me but at least I passed the Series 7...which had a commodity futures component in June of 1990. As noted above, he's never had ANY licenses.

@ 26 minutes into interview,

David Morgan says to 'get yourselves a half bag, quarter bag, a couple o rolls'....of haha..

I had a flashback of my youth...

Thank you Turd for taking the reins and reaching out to an old pot head (;)) and Spanish Flu survivor like Mr Morgan... he was and has been a consistent and reasoned voice for Silver for many years.

Again, we must be thinking about his 100 out of 500o year comment... if we want Silver and Gold to become money and back currency again, get as much currency off your balance sheet and convert a prudent sum of that fiat into metals.

I read a comment from one of our Canadian TFMR members lamenting the restrictions of OneGold to Canadian residents.. I do hope the various platforms are working feverishly to get metals backed platforms working in all regions, as a modern solution to begin storing transactional ounces as a unit of account rather than fiat issued in excriment from dying central banks.

Regarding the Director of WHO and faulty math. Yes what is missing from ALL of the numbers are undiagnosed cases, people who felt a little sick and recovered and didn't seek medical attention because they didn't need it, couldn't afford it, or were too far away etc. Who knows how many those are but it will affect (in a good way) the calculated death rate.

First Majestic. Business must be good. Yesterday selling for $17.50 an ounce, tonight $18.50. Is silver spot up a buck? Nope.

3X ETF's. Forget them. Find a 2X ETF. A little less greed, a little less overnight worry, a little less denigration over time, can make the difference if you need to hold for a few weeks. 2X ETF's are out there. Find yours.

Can you imagine if you bought

Can you imagine if you bought GDXJ one hour before the close at $31 and checked back later to see you're now down $5

Moriarty

the man denies there's any manipulation in the metals markets. that is just obliviously obtuse in 2020 with conviction of the JP Morgue traders and the investigation of JP Morgue itself as a criminal enterprise ongoing.

and he bloviates about getting the "paper price" no matter what you do. well, frankly, that's just plain stupid. you can with minimal effort go out on ebay and advertise your monster box of ASEs for $11,000.00 tonight, guaranty next day shipment and you'll out-compete the PM retailers out on the site. that monster box today will sell for that price in a heartbeat. what are you paying the pm retailer for anyway to take such an over the barrel gang sodomy for your shiny?!

series 3, series 7, series 17, whatever. the man is a retard.
