Thursday Conversation - David Morgan

30

With Comex Digital Silver prices crashing to 12-year lows, I figured that it would be an excellent time to get David Morgan in for his perspective on the madness.

I hope you find this discussion helpful. Over the course of this call, I ask David to address:

  • the forces that have driven prices to these levels
  • capital preservation strategies
  • how he thinks this all plays out in the end

For more assistance from David, please check out the valuable information at THE MORGAN REPORT

Thanks for listening.

The Problem With Moriarity

In his latest article, he claims that there is no disconnect between paper silver and physical silver.

http://www.321gold.com/editorials/moriarty/moriarty031920.html

He thinks he knows more than all the dealers who are on the front lines. He claims:

"There is no shortage of silver and there is no disconnect between the price of physical and paper. If you really believe dealers are short of silver, take in a 100-ounce bar and see just how much the physical price varies from the paper price.

I can tell you. It’s zero. If you own gold or silver you paid for it with paper and if you sell gold or silver you are going to be paid based on the paper price."

So I went and looked at prices for my local dealer and for 100 Oz bars, they are buying at $2 over spot and selling for almost $7 over spot. Based on my research, you can't even buy a 100 Oz bar for immediate delivery because everyone is sold out!

The problem with Moriarity is that he gets no feedback - there is no section for comments on his website. He doesn't want to hear dissenting opinions and wants to tell everyone else what their own opinion is.

Working on a thesis... US Congress heard rumor of TP shortage.

The Senate is working on a deal that will send $1,200 checks to each U.S. adult as part of a stimulus plan to bolster the U.S economy in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, two sources familiar with the negotiations told FOX Business. Children will receive $500.

  • Why stop there?
    • Pets? $250 each
    • Livestock? $100/head
    • Classic Car? $25/axle

They are so not creative....
