I have used https://atkinsonsthejewellers.com/index.php over time and have found them to be excellent. I have ordered, paid by online bank transfer and they have been delivered to any given address the very next day by registered insured delivery every time. They have not been late on delivery or contact once. From personal experience, they are good value for the money. I even asked the guy there Richard to look out for a particular coin for me and he said he would.
Interesting that noone has mentioned https://www.hattongardenmetals.com/ yet. haven't used them yet but have excellent reviews and are at the top of the honesty league when selling . 3% over spot for au when buying. rarely have silver britannias.
Here's a good link to check out some reviews

It is true that there is, and has been for a long time, no personal or corporate CGT on UK legal tender gold bullion coins (gold sovereigns and gold Britannias - various sizes for both). This was UK law. Despite my darkest fears and suspicions I do not see this changing in the foreseeable future due to the difficulty of the govt. monitoring, enforcing, and collecting. Thanks to the EU, which passed the Gold Directive, there is no VAT on gold bullion throughout the EU, so there is perforce none in the UK as it has passed out of our hands to the all-wise and fulsomely gracious grey suits in Brussels. As is well-known there is generally a hefty 20% VAT on silver, but also at varying rates, and it can be obtained at 0% if you know where to look - something a lot well less known.
For those wanting VAT-free silver Britannias, Canadian maples, Austrian philharmonias, etc, then Estonia-based CelticGold have been around for while and seem very professional, although I have not used them yet. European orders of VAT-free silver and gold bullion coins (via CK Logistics courier from Estonia): https://gold.celticgold.eu/p_en/
For those in Brussels, Belgium, and wanting strictly OTC in the shop, cash-in-hand smaller amounts, or larger amounts by pre-order and bank transfer, then VAT-free Canadian silver maples are now available at GFI (min. order 50 if you go in, although the website says 100), tubes of 25 are unsealed but coins mint condition : https://www.goldforex.be/servlet/javaparser?pgm=lst_or_new&lg=uk
In the UK, for a good gold/silver all-round cash/OTC AND courier delivery company, I recommend BullionByPost in Birmingham (handily near the Birmingham New Street rail station): https://www.bullionbypost.co.uk/
I hope this helps.
1kg silver bars are keener at nearby BullionByPost, but this is a very interesting and diverse product line. Good to compare offers when selling to them...
Hey guys, I posted this link up way back last year here but the thread ended up back on page 3 of the forums so I'll post it here for you again :) Ignore the chit chat and just stick to what the original poster says.
and ending up with this
best to wait for the package, pay it and then send in the Bor286 ( - hammer edit -which claims back the 20%, if charged, leaving you only a 5% charge as a numismatic)
the £8 post office ripoff is sadly part of the deal !
here is the link to download the bor286
Best Bullion dealers in Britain is Hatton Garden Metals, if you are buying for weight bar none. (3% above spot)
Atkinsons are the best supplier for silver I use them all the time as well. I would also recommend Bairds (Gold line). Gerrard's are also in the top 4. I wouldn't touch any other bullion supplier. Bullion by post are shocking and so are coin invest and they are amongst a large number of rip off merchants best avoided with the biggest being the royal mint.
