AGQ & NUGT

AGQ: Bought some here after the close for $46.31 - let's see what comes of it in the morning.

Edit: Seconds later the ask is already down to $46.25 - dang it.

NUGT: Reduced buy order and filled at $10.04 - rubbing rabbit's foot.

Ha, I see that all the time in aftermarket, someone buys ask and then immediately ask drops, sometimes happens to me, that's how I first noticed it.

@RW

No, cant find it now, but the report indicated

that the metal would most likely retain 'precious'

status during the hours of darkness, then reverting

back to 'base' during daylight. Hence 'semi-precious'.

Bon Soir.

Silver. The new copper.

Silver. The new copper. Downright common. Maybe we can get Geithner to bang out some last hurrah pennies with 'em?

That was good Lord.....the joke is on me.

1. However that got me looking at Moodys. Here's a definition of Moody's rating. And of course silver at least until now is not a security.

"The system of rating securities was originated by John Moody in 1909. The purpose of Moody's ratings is to provide investors with a simple system of gradation by which future relative creditworthiness of securities may be gauged."

2. Also after all this time talking about silver, didn't know its already considered a semi-precious industrial metal.

Wish I could respond, but honestly can't. Looking at both gold and silver graphs the downtrend is almost a certainty. Silver to 31-30 and gold to 1650 almost seem preordained. But for trading purposes I have learned mostly now to just trade what is in front of me and more importantly its getting better as time goes on. And that's mostly because my executive functioning is improving, not because the graphs are any different.

There is far too much intrusion, yesterday being an excellent example, for me to consider anything but the next 24 hours any more. I still think long term, I just don't count on it.

Another scam article to

Another scam article to convince me further that 2013 will be better than 2012. btw you'll notice that notwithstanding gold's projected decline author still recommends GLD,GDX,GDXJ. I know a few people who hold those. But no advice really given says the writer.

Holy Cow

Now I see why you North American peeps are so stressed a lot of the time. I don't watch much TV, but I just watched the abc coverage of the North Korean launch... Wow, just wow. Apparently everyone on the West coast is now in grave danger of being hit by a rudimentary Apollo program miniature with a car-sized nuclear device strapped to it's upper regions... HAHA

What a relatively amusing joke.

As for trading, I'm carrying on with my usual strategy. Chucked a fair bit o'erboard back up at 17ish and probably loaded too much back today. 1066 was an interesting year and 1666 is an interesting price. Always prepared for all outcomes.

Speaking of 17, maybe Gold feels a bit like this right now.
