Ag traded in a 60 cent range today - havent seen this tight of an intraday since JP shut down the Prop Desks in Sept 2010

Ag traded in a 60 cent range today - havent seen this tight of an intraday in awhile. Seems like we are due for a big break out or break down day, which will it be?

Remember how JPM shutdown one of their proprietary trading unit on Sept 1. 2010 and all the sudden the market became calm and stable for a month or more? I miss those flat days where the silver spot just kept inching upward day after day in a very methodical fashion, sometimes operating within maybe a 20 cent range on the day. Lately the intraday charts make me gag just looking at them, but today, today was nice :)

Funny how when the heat is on JP the markets went quiet and became predictable, and actually looked like they had human participants in them instead of wild richter scale type volatility.
