Of all the newstories, a millions of bits of information being thrown at you everyday, this small statement got most of my attention. Why?

Those guys are a particular brand of story tellers. JOURN-Alists..... Daily Diary.(once related to times of prayer) ... Diuranal.... But all Stories. They are all story tellers. They have large followings because they tell stories people want to hear.
There is something special about stories in human history?
In fact, it is believed by most historians and psychologists that storytelling is one of the many things that define and bind our humanity. Humans are perhaps the only animals that create and tell stories.
Everybody has a story....well, many stories. Your life experience.
And everybody loves a story... You buy tickets to see stories flashed on a screen by light. You read them. You tell them at the bar, coffee shop, well, just about everywhere.
These men take reality and weave stories to fill your heads. Some are good stories, bad stories, well woven stories, and others maybe not?
What's the earmark of a good story? How well it stirs/strikes the emotions. Could be one. How well a story distills a principle? Probably a few more.
So if stories are so primal, necessary, they are sort of like food, and air? Maybe a little lower as you can probably live without a story for a few days. But soon enough, you'll be telling somebody or listening to a story.

Did we mean we are plotting the course? Or we are tracking the course? Could it be both? Do we have a role in the direction whether intentional or not?
So what is story and archetypes that we are so upset that Disney is distorting human archetypes in their stories, and hiding what they do?

Back in 1982 I joined the Summit Organization, a personal and professional development growth organization.
Paul Larson founded it around 1976. He was the head shed, guru, accomplished musician, photo expert, a self styled weiber geist shaman. It's antecedents were EST, the Esalen Institute and Scientology.
Paul worked for Erhard, writing and leading workshops until he 'borrowed' a few of the processes, class concepts and a couple of ESTies who formed the core of his team.
If you use classic definitions it was also a cult and highly protective of everything Summit. Paul lead the cult. He had high priests, clergy, acolytes, lay class and 50,000 followers, for whom absolute adherence to the orthodoxy and a high credit limit were required for admission to the inner chambers.
Like the 10% LDS tithe, a 10% investment of your income into classes was a good start point percentage These classes were tax deductible. 33% was not uncommon.
For me, a rough-as-a-cob heathen, it worked well to scrape off the barnacles and smooth lots of sharp corners. Most people came and went with regularity but some stayed for years, even decades.
You didn't engage Summit and remain unchanged. It engaged you like Marine boot camp. What came out the other side of that experience could be a bit difficult to describe. Most fared well and benefited from the experience

In general, people don't like to change, but nature ensures that it happens.
So the shadow side that is society is focused on now, Epstein, large religious institutions, government hypocrisy and corruption.... all that darkness is one side of the coin. The other is the opportunity that comes by entering the darkness. That's where the gold is hidden.
What's the light side? After raging at what was always there, but we couldn't and refused to see, does society get a higher initiation?

It appears that HBO is watching several other series tanking at the same time.
This is not a single "Get Woke Go Broke" situation, but rather something manifesting across the board. How big and how long remains to be seen.
in my view, HBO and their industry colleague corporations have political activists (instead of writers) writing Watchmen, Supergirl, Batwoman. people not picked for ability, or professional achievements in their field, but people employed using a very different list of criteria.
And while that famous RT rating agency site even has a score of 98% fresh for one, the viewers think very differently. And viewers are leaving in droves. Across the board this appears to be happening.

When you do see it you'll get why some people didn't want you to watch it. Many readers undoubtedly know what I'm talking about, but why spoil it?
If social sentiment had not changed, and changed dramatically, audiences would not differ from the critics on this particular movie anything like as much as they do.

Years ago, I had dinner with someone who had worked as a personal assistant of the CEO of Walt Disney. They said every afternoon they would bring him the list of stories scheduled for their network news subsidiary that night. He would edit/delete the ones he did not want to run.

Those guys are a particular brand of story tellers. JOURN-Alists..... Daily Diary.(once related to times of prayer) ... Diuranal.... But all Stories. They are all story tellers. They have large followings because they tell stories people want to hear.
There is something special about stories in human history?
In fact, it is believed by most historians and psychologists that storytelling is one of the many things that define and bind our humanity. Humans are perhaps the only animals that create and tell stories.

Everybody has a story....well, many stories. Your life experience.
And everybody loves a story... You buy tickets to see stories flashed on a screen by light. You read them. You tell them at the bar, coffee shop, well, just about everywhere.
These men take reality and weave stories to fill your heads. Some are good stories, bad stories, well woven stories, and others maybe not?
What's the earmark of a good story? How well it stirs/strikes the emotions. Could be one. How well a story distills a principle? Probably a few more.
So if stories are so primal, necessary, they are sort of like food, and air? Maybe a little lower as you can probably live without a story for a few days. But soon enough, you'll be telling somebody or listening to a story.

Did we mean we are plotting the course? Or we are tracking the course? Could it be both? Do we have a role in the direction whether intentional or not?
So what is story and archetypes that we are so upset that Disney is distorting human archetypes in their stories, and hiding what they do?
Is it similar to posioning the food supply? Does distorting the archetype of the Hero have an effect on society?
Breakdown story even further. What is it? We do it and it's primal what need does it serve?
Is it the creative force in action? The same creative force that drives humans and markets? The destiny of society?
YOu want to know what's going on, go look at some of the morning stories. Choose wisely.
There is a story, just a story, of a spiritual giant that when he began writing his memoirs, he had to stop because the creative force was so strong, it stirred the ethers and the current interacted with the negative forces of the group consciousness, and created bad storms? NOt your average climate change story.

Do all these alt. media types get paid well for their stories by putting them on youtube? I don't think so. Bitchute? No idea, but it can't be much? So whatever else they do, or products they have to offer, it probably supplements their primary muse. Telling stories to you!

in my own story telling way
Back in 1982 I joined the Summit Organization, a personal and professional development growth organization.
Paul Larson founded it around 1976. He was the head shed, guru, accomplished musician, photo expert, a self styled weiber geist shaman. It's antecedents were EST, the Esalen Institute and Scientology.
Paul worked for Erhard, writing and leading workshops until he 'borrowed' a few of the processes, class concepts and a couple of ESTies who formed the core of his team.
If you use classic definitions it was also a cult and highly protective of everything Summit. Paul lead the cult. He had high priests, clergy, acolytes, lay class and 50,000 followers, for whom absolute adherence to the orthodoxy and a high credit limit were required for admission to the inner chambers.
Like the 10% LDS tithe, a 10% investment of your income into classes was a good start point percentage These classes were tax deductible. 33% was not uncommon.
For me, a rough-as-a-cob heathen, it worked well to scrape off the barnacles and smooth lots of sharp corners. Most people came and went with regularity but some stayed for years, even decades.
You didn't engage Summit and remain unchanged. It engaged you like Marine boot camp. What came out the other side of that experience could be a bit difficult to describe. Most fared well and benefited from the experience
Paul always had sage words for anyone who was able to get his ear for a few ticks. When someone asked him about the meaning of life or something equally open ended, he'd say:

I did the second and though it took a while to find her since I didn't include the "WHEN" or height into the written process, focussing mostly on 5' 10" blonde women.
Round 6 years later and some assistance from 2 DJs and the Oscar Meyer Weinermobile, she showed up in my life. And she into mine. She did the same process 10 years before we met, sans Summit. I failed in one aspect. She is 5' 4" tall. That tiny 6 inch difference in height lead to meeting her 6 years later. It's all about those little things, yanno.
Interest thought that one can absolutely transform their mind, body and world through the written word on a legal pad using a Ticonderoga #2 pencil. I never considered that before discovering it during my studies at Summit. Before that I was grinding out a work career and little else

Large groups/collectives, like big institutions, societies don't change easily. It takes time and many change of seasons. But the individual and small groups are sprite and have a better chance at wholesale change and rewriting the script.
Once society decides on a direction, its pretty much like turning a large cruise ship after it has set it's course. It takes BIG WINDS and LARGE WAVES to change the course.
So the question, for myself, that I have in regards to the Zeitgiest of the times is where society is headed, and what are the deeper lessons on a collective and individual basis? .
The company line is that we are looking at deconstruction. The collapse of old/rigid and corrupt institutions. So that means, fractally speaking, each of us is a grain of sand in the collective beach, and that our individual experiences are contributing to the entire collective experience. I'm sure one or two people here are experiencing some kind of break down of old ways??? It's gotta be somebody.
In general, people don't like to change, but nature ensures that it happens.
So the shadow side that is society is focused on now, Epstein, large religious institutions, government hypocrisy and corruption.... all that darkness is one side of the coin. The other is the opportunity that comes by entering the darkness. That's where the gold is hidden.
What's the light side? After raging at what was always there, but we couldn't and refused to see, does society get a higher initiation?
Peter Schweizer wrote a book about Disney's corruption in 1998. Good writer. Only took 20 years for all us "woke" people to see it.
The discovery that we could split the atom changed the world and our understanding of the world. That Zeitgiest moved us into a new understanding of energy and the raw power of the universe. But it also taught us about the shadow and what it contained.

"We have the best economy ever" Is both totally true, and totally false or so amorphous because nobody really knows what constitutes an economy. Given the condition of the US dollar relative to all the others, we do. Ignoring stagflation, and general financial repression due to low interest rates for the average retired Joe. Nothing to write home about. In terms of rhetorical discourse and the reasons he has to use it is a reflection of the state of affairs, enemies, and the general knowledge of the public, just is what it is. The next President will probably at least match his skillset or be strong in some other area of human being tweaking.

I'm not sure what's going on in Hong Kong is what the media is telling us? I've seen some really strange, strange videos. It might be like what happened in Bolivia, and whats going on in other places where there might be bad people from across an ocean playing interference, or even domestic forces putting up controlled opposition to nudge the direction of the outcome.
That looks like one of those long Bronze age cycles. According to legend,the priests won't let go of control,and participate in their wild orgies, the populace is distracted from the natural order by bread and circuses, and a small group of enlightened who have preserved the knowledge, craft a boat, and get out of dodge, and then an asteroid hits planet earth, and displaces 1/2 the waters in the ocean. But it's just a legend and the world falls into a long winter.
