So I bought a short tranche yesterday with price still above $18.
Sold it today around $17.65.
So far, so good. But I'm still net long! Volume is low and I think we see $18+ again before it all goes to heck, so....
Increased long position at Ag=$17.65
The ice is thin so here's to skating fast.
I am really glad to have an electronic calendar.
That was me last year, more or less ignoring my calendar note. Silver fell from about $18 to about $16.50. And I was wrong about seeing $18 again before the bottom fell out.
This year I paid better attention.
Feel free to copy my note into your calendar.

Swing trade indexed ETFs. Long physical gold, silver, and 1 miner.
Silver price on the first about $24, price today, the 30th, about $22.20. Proving out the note that my younger self gives my older self.
In between though, a head-faking dramatic run up to $26 and the fall back to $22 has been torture for anyone caught up in it.
I was short, and ran out of dry powder at about $25. Had to hang on biting my nails through 26. Good payoff today though. I will look to being flat by end of day.
And, note this was an election year, anything ´could' have happened!
Feel free to bookmark this comment and come back late next October. It's not advice, I don't give advice, it's just history for consideration.
