FYI: My prior post should have read "Other low mintage "S" mint mark. This is the rest of them.

Hi guys n gals. Been real busy. 2017 7 coin libertad set, 2017 5 coin and 3 coin premium sovereign sets, gold libertad proofs, various sovereigns dates, silver krugerrand proof, 5oz sapphire jubilee, britannia trident privy, gold and silver queens beasts and a bunch of other stuff. Hope everyone is good
The 2017 Stockhorse has been released. It is the fifth coin in the series that started with 2013. I have three complete sets going, so I ordered three of them.
All of these coins are limited to 10,000 coins, and if my memory serves me, it is supposed to be a 10 year series, so we are at the halfway point. It seems to have feigned a little in popularity over the past couple years, but I have a feeling that at the end of the road, complete sets will be rare. We'll see...

Hi I am new to the site in Perth Australia. These were sold from the Perth mint at $28 each 2 weeks ago and then sold at $55 once they were sold out. Price now at $40 in the secondary market. Mintage of 25,000. Made for Apmex.

Just took a peek over there...
Looks like they sent them all in to be graded by PCGS for $ub$tantial markup!
$99 & $149 ea. ;-(
Want Birds? I got a few Niue Athena Owls for $19.09. ;-)
(Same picture on the back)
Made especially for Apmex sounds weird... considering that it's a real coin, and not a medal.
Apmex must be a very important client for the Perth Mint ;-)
These weeks I concentrated more on bullion coins. Over here in Europe it's difficult to come close the prices at which you guys have access to bullion. There's not as much competition and there's VAT.
Nevertheless, I was able to order 500 2017 Perth mint silver kangaroos for 18.52€ each. This should bring the cost average down a little bit.
The Perth Mint makes "coins" for several large customers like Apmex or some of the larger German retailers. Their favorite trick is to mint a coin like the Lunar or kookaburra and put a privy on it (Bear, Dragon, Lion) and make it exclusive to the dealer. You know these are made to order as the mintages are low (10,000-50,000).
I just got a couple of their 1/2 oz Egyptian rounds to check 'em out (and round out my order). Definitely "different".
I like how they disguised their "MPM" logo as some new undiscovered hieroglyphic.
Like "Where's Waldo", can you find it? ;-)
Gold, Silver, Coins, Bars, Misc. Quite a few "interesting" lots.

Been seeing a few of these "On Sale", got a few, maybe more since they are not much more, even lower price than regular coins.
Are they "worth it?" as far as future appreciation? I looked it up and found mixed opinions?
Well, I got a few of the "Bigfoot" Maples @ $19.41 (JM)
Looked 'em up online... At the "Big A" they were asking $27.91, a vendor on eBay has sold 345 @ $31.45! Went back and bought a few more at the "sale" price. ;-)
The Monkey mark? Not so much, a few bucks extra. Oh Well. Bigfoot is more popular than I expected.
I'm on a roll here. ;-/

The Downfall of an Ancient Coin Dealer Who Defrauded Customers of Millions and Lost a Bronze Head
always love a good holiday smashing, especially when it follows a first of the month. Off to the coin shops today. To the thrill of the hunt
I do not have it in hand yet, but I am very excited about this one.
i say both
No, really, I'm not kidding.
I used to post pretty regularly here on Turd's sight some time back, but I haven't visited for a while.
Anyways, I was really curious to see and handle some (allegedly) silver-plated brass fake Morgans and Silver Eagles, so a couple of years ago I bought some from merchants on Alibaba. The Morgans would pass muster by naked eye by me (a novice), but the Eagles are clearly fakes, being Medallion Strike.
Well, I've still got 'em, and I don't need them for anything. For a measly two bucks, I'll send you one, just in case you want to see and handle decent fakes with your own hands and eyes. Contact me at occasnltrvlr[at]comcast[dot]net.
Please don't be perturbed, as I'll post this same message on a couple of different threads.
Two more coins in the Egyptian Rimless Series
Happy Holidays Achmachat!
you know me too well!
I hope the year has started full of joy for you and your family!
I recently bought a series of "native German animals" that was a limited mintage in the early 1980s. Also rimless.
They're beautiful in their plasticity and simplicity.
I shall take them out if the box, take some pictures and share
