I thought pretty much everyone here on DOTS knows it is a casino run by the insiders. Especially since 2009, since then it has been going up on a 30 degree 9or higher) angle.
While I agree that the stock market can be weaponized against a sitting president, to a degree, Rappaport is closer to its real purpose as he disclosed how it is weaponized against the little people, by fleecing them up one side and down the other.
That is why so many of us are stackers.
Amid a lot of cheering the newest tax revolution was much in the annals of revolutions. The $1,000 tax benefit didn't yield much to the AGX family but for most they saw some upticks after using standard deductions. There's $12000 more on the write table for the family tax plan.
Add that to some advertised paycheck increases of $1,000, it's closer to $2,000 a year Still not a lot of money but $2,000 on $50,000 gross paycheck, maybe $36,000 net after state Fed and payroll taxes, is a tad over 5%. It could move the needle for people who just hit tilt on their monthly budget and find just enough to make ends meet or wave as they go by.
If that is a set piece and the best 95% of the people will see year over year, then these tax payers are going to find that in short order, the push-me pull-you of taxes orchestrated by the bankers and politicians, separated by nary a sliver of light, or their masters who harvest a piece of every tax dollar as tribute ro Caesar, will find that $2,000 left to the budgetary devices of the proles. Let no family budget go unprobed
All tariffs are taxes. All taxes are paid by the consumer. Whether a state tax paid to Amazon, a tariff paid by the manufacturer using steel or a tax paid by a local business who's cost factors just got hijcked, we are going to pay
I doubt if we will see that $2,000 remain in the hands of the wage earning consumer. It's too much cash laying around and GOldman Sachs just opened Marcus a high yield account paying at 1.50% APR, no monthly maintenance fees, transfer fees and a low overhead You can start it with as little as a dollar. But it's online only, has not ATMs, allows 6 transactions or withdrawals a month
It seems that Goldman drives the steamroller, picks up the pennies, pays the drivers and leases the ambulance for those caught under the rollers. All for $1 a month. I have say Goldman has figured out there's a lot of money in the cracks and the weeds
There is something about you that I kind of like. It might be the wry humor in your posts. And I kind of like when I'm being hard ass, you stay cool, and provide interesting responses.
I didn't know that you were silver doctor, but I did say your replies are lucid and generally thought out.
Ok, Rapporport. A guy I generally like. How bad can a guy be that thinks everybody needs a course in logic?
Glad a few have you took me up on my challenge.
The market is gamed. Ok! I'm not going to argue that there are big players doing all sorts of things.
But is it anymore gamed that gold?
I've been informed, educated, enlightened that there are certain parties that might read this forum which ties my hands in what I can show you. You know a picture paints a thousand words. What the hell is that saying??
So I'm not disagreeing with Ancient Money's and AG's overall point that big players with lots of leverage are making TONS of money. Inside short selling and all that. And that's not happening with gold?
I'm saying so what. I took alot of pain to show you that through quantam entanglement all patterns are connected. AM did a real good one on astrology and the entire micro is connected to the macro at all levels. You can't just throw that stuff away!!
You just can't spend hours reading all this deeply esoteric stuff and throw it all away when you start looking at reality and the markets.
I just posted a chart of the market fractal to 1929. Alot of people are hip to that. They know some fractal is going on. I actually wrote about this fractal and showed you charts of what happened after 1929 collapse. So if that fractal is in play, than it seems we have ALOT of information about the downside risk and upside possibility. Of course, we need a little thing like time to help us along. And that's the stuff I can't post.
The samething applies with gold. The possibility of what the market can do, any market, is NOT totally at the beck and call of those big players. They don't control everything.
Therefore, by being able to control the stock market, the insiders can control THE PERCEPTION of how the economy is doing.
I got a chance to watch one of AM's video's he did last year. I've read Armstrongs version and a couple other analysts and I've been spending hours looking at the future myself to see how well it stacks up against more experienced analysts. NONE OF THEM are fooled about the state of the economy even if they have slight differences on what can happen. Only the people who don't have those tools might be fooled. I see alot of traders struggling and I wonder if they bother to work out the long term picture and if they know where they are going?
Obviously, the direction, the size of the turns and ups and downs are in flux, but they all have an idea of where it's going and for how long. Strange thing how everybody is coming up with the same dates.
So while they can control the perceptions of somebody that doesn't know, people come here to KNOW. So we are the group that shouldn't be fooled by propoganda.
These people ARE NOT totally in CONTROL OF THE MARKET over long periods of time.
Let me say it as simple as I can, The MARKET IS GOING UP. THE MARKET HAS VERY FEW PARTICIPANTS.
THE FED PUMPING IS GOING TO HELP THE MARKET GO UP FOR A FEW YEARS, AND AFTER.
IN BETWEEN THOSE UPS, ARE GOING TO BE DOWNS. IT'S GOING TO BE VERY VOLATILE.
THE UPWARD TRAJECTORY IS NOT DUE TO A GOOD ECONOMY. IT IS DUE TO FED PUMPING.
IT IS DUE TO LOTS OF CAPITAL ESCAPING THE EU AT ESCAPE GRAVITY VELOCITY.
THOSE AREN'T GOOD THINGS.
Now whether as a long term investment, it's a good buy, that depends on how you weight it against inflation.
But there are going to be vertical climbs and vertical falls. Played right, it seems to me there will be profit, not just gold. Both provide some opportunities.
Take a look at the S&P and the YEN. Like twin sisters. TAke a look at gold and the yuan. Like bosom buddies. TAke a look at the rate of fed pumping and the DOW.
Over the long term, this is not going to work. That doesn't seem to be in the cards out a few years. Because the downs will recover.
If they decide it’s time to give the impression the economy is in deep trouble—and therefore the economic policies of a president sitting in the White House are disastrous for the country—they take the stock market down.
This is not true. It's NOT Two separate entities with no connection.
The stock market is a casino. The economy is the economy. They are two separate realities.
Since when are markets not part of a larger economy?
If they decide it’s time to give the impression the economy is in deep trouble—and therefore the economic policies of a president sitting in the White House are disastrous for the country—they take the stock market down.
Is that what's happening now? They are bulling up against trump and taking it down? Then why do some many people have turning points?
Even I have #'s of what the market is going to do if it breaks support.
Here's what I think, thanks for asking. I think that Jon Rapporport is sick and tired of the globalist and the left attacking Trump. He is been generally friendly with Trump because he hates the globalist and the left. That's fine. But he's saying the stock market is totally disconnected from what's going on? To me that's wrong information. Dangerous information. It also doesn't tell you the dynamic of what's really going and tell you what the future holds and both the possible benefits and risks associated with going into this market when it reaches a buy signal.
Maybe, I'm tired!! I'm tired of these little biases that creep into people's analysis. Jim Cramer is saying the samething. GET OUT. It's finished. It's not finished by a long shot. AT some point, it's going to get dangerous. There are few scenario's I've heard that sound a little more Armageddon than others.
But the current reality doesn't look the way he is making it look.
IF MANIPULATION IS A PROBLEM. YOU SHOULDN'T BE IN ANY INVESTMENT. Gold, silver or stocks.

I just posted the long answer. They can fleece by misinformation. I'm saying Rapporport is not giving the entire truth as he see's it.

You and I are living in the same hallucination.
It's not really a big secret that large groups of people are connecting through an emotion because they have the same lense on reality. It's just not politically or socially correct for me to point it out within a group of people that behave that way. Maybe I got a little Trump in me.
Go up to a thin person and call him a fat slob. He'll look at you strange. Because the insult has nothing to stick to. There is no reality. But go up to fat slob and call a fat slob a fat slob, DUCK!! You've hit the mark.
It's obvious you and I have some common interests. And it's beyond obvious that you get our stirred by certain topics that enlighten us. I see you get excited at the same things that stoke me. And I see you are reading books in the same area. So you are going to wonder why some of the really good posts people make get looked over. That's just not their area of interests.
Emotions....Ok, emotions are human. To feel is to be human. Music, poetry, food all move the emotions mostly in a positive direction. Even religion, scripture, and obvious politics strikes the emotion. And a good laugh takes the tedium out of the daily humdrum. So emotions are just what they are. They are information and useful. Except if you are a dog feeling angry and acting on it. NOt such a useful emotion Although dogs are often playing out owners emotions because they are empathic. Humans should always be the lead, the dominant, in control of their animals. It's unlikely a person dog would act like you described if there owners were on the ball. Samething with kids in highschool. They are acting out what is given to them. Not on my watch. So I wouldn't be surprised what you saw was dogs playing out their owners submissiviness during a full moon.
But emotions are harmful when we act in the financial realm without intellect. Remember AM's comment about silver buying on a full moon? That emotion can be curbed with better information. That's what you call a hat tip post because that can save you alot of pain in the future if all you do is look at the phase of the moon when you're in a buying mood. A tip for life. You'll never forget it. Either will I. Not as emotionally pleasing as Keep Stacking under all conditions, but that's the wisdom a part of the group wants to hear. It says I'm doing the right thing and I like it when others think the same way.
There are planetary forces acting on your emotions which contributed to invisible waves which I call psychic waves that make people act irrationally in markets. That should be something that every investor deals with. Gann has a list of rules and almost every good trader has a list of rules so you're not investing or trading on emotions. Those are fundamental.
I have made a false assumption that as a collective we all value the samethings or the same type of wisdom. Not true. That's my bad. But I find it ODD in a world that's falling apart and finacial wisdom is so hard to come by that people would overlook the profound things and only acknowledge the things that make them feel better about themselves.
I just wish I could hat tip at the bottom of each post. Hate re-scrolling and don't want to hat tip until I read the whole post.
Turd seems to think algos to control PM prices were switched recently. I think it is a more direct control mechanism in action. How else could they strictly limit up days to 2 percent for years on end?
Until paper derivatives are defeated by physical demand, natural cycles remain defeated by the elites through control of legal, but illegitimate short paper contracts.

Maybe one day, I'll ask you again to take a peak at what goes on in that anon group. Maybe.
You call it as you see them. So do I.
In real life, you can't do that without consequences. I break all the rules of proper social conduct.
Actually, my mood is rather good today. If you ever saw how much I laugh sometimes when I'm typing these things, you'd think I'm saddistic.
I especially find my food posts hysterical (for me) A man needs entertainment.
Shit, this full moon is better than all the rest. This is going to be a rough full moon. Like a kaleidoscope you may experience many different situations in a rapid sequence of time..
I saw the big boys out tonight. Somebody died. Four police cars, an ambulance and that big truck with all the high tech equipment. Somebody gotta clean up the blood. all the chemical equipment.
And then my wife came home from work, she had to get off the subway because two guys were fighting, one with a razor blade. That's never happened to her. Poor thing was petrified.
When I'm boisterous, I'm usually fine. It's when I get quiet that I'm moody.
YOu know Mr. T? Don't Mess With Mr. T.
I once called him Mr. Turrentine. Out of deep respect. He said call me Stanley and then asked me to run out and get him a cup of coffee.
And when I was in college Archie Shepp was my professor of music. It was a black studies class and he was teaching us the history of the blues. I am a white boy so he doesn't think white people can play blues. But I still liked him. He was eccentric especially when he was drunk at a gig.
I was his little white slave. He always asked me to carry the record player out to his car. BASTARD!!
John Coltrane gave him his first break and record deal. I once saw him at the Iron Horse. I think he had a little too much to drink and he had forgotten his saxophone strap so he was using a neck tie.
I'm not quite sure what I was smoking that night, but he sounded damn good. He's a poet too. Then he starts singing Momma Rose. You know a black slave like song and I'm sitting there in a small smoky club and he's talking about Grandma Rose and I heard these words
"Your Vagina Split Asymmetrically From East To West" That's a line you never forget.
Wow. Glad we live in flyover country. My wife gets squeamish if she sees a 6" garter snake. A fight between dudes involving a blade is thankfully much more unlikely here; at least for now.
I can't understand why anyone would want to live in a place where that sort of shit occurs regularly.

I don't think I've ever witnessed a knife fight. None come to my mind at the moment. I think that was the first time for my wife.
Since I am forbidden by law to own a gun in New York City. Could somebody let me know if this is good gun safety?
If you can name the equipment, I'll be even more impressed.
looks like good safety for the intruders.
I've been going through the nearly 6000 pages of "Seth" channeled material this weekend,
It's basically hermetic philosophy, but it has a lot of history woven into it.
Starting with all of the ancient civilizations that thrived prior to Atlantis, that seeded our universe with life,
This story is remarkably similar to many of the assumptions that I have posted here.
I've been spreading Bondo on my Mustang, and glueing together some really big cracks in it. It's a great activity for listening to an audiobook .
In case anyone is interested, I have often mentioned that I attended a Mark Passio a seminar last year,
and it has finally been posted to YouTube.
Much as it concurs with my own research, and the opinions expressed are quite similar to the ones that I have expressed here.
If you'd like to know the story that is way, way closer to real history, and how the Bible was specifically designed to lead the flock astray, this is a pretty good summary of who Jesus actually was, what he actually said, and what he actually did.

Genuine Christianity is not what most people think it is.
Human beings have been given a false form of Christianity to keep them spiritually asleep. In this paradigm-changing presentation, Mark Passio points out the hallmark beliefs and behaviors of false "Christians" and defines what it really means to be an Authentic Christian.
This presentation was originally given in Philadelphia, PA on June 24, 2017.

Mr. Fix, I can very much understand your doubting a faith that occasionally pulls a 180 on this thing or that.
When it involves guns and shooting techiniques Women are trainable
Weaponry and firing techniques
Watched video twice while listening to Mr T Not suggested for most minds but it did bring the video into better focus
Mag fed pistols, revolvers, shotgun, semi auto mag fed rifle, belted M 60 on a tripod, crew served (how she pulled this one off I cannot fathom but I bet she can dead lift 250 easy), SAW, pop tart gun, movie prop pistol that never runs out of bullets.
Critique of male shooter. I would cap him in the leg for muzzling like he did while firing his shot gun. No weapon control to speak of. He stood on the X, making himself a target fer sure. At least he drew fire so the woman could continue firing And what with him being behind her. Fucking coward, using a woman for a bullet shield He deserved to die
In a real home defense situation you move and shot, take advantage of concealment, fired small sets of rounds or bursts, do tactical reloads and make sure you and and your partner are working from the same play book. Home Defense is a practiced drill. He did a decent if a bit sloppy reload early in the sequence
He muzzled her at least twice and shot her in the back. Her frame might have taken the hit.. Then his worry about the home invaders would have vanished when she'd have stuck her 44 mag (recoil on pistols noted in her hands despite heavy body) up his pooper and blown his giblets out of his eye sockets.
As for the woman, there's something to work with her. Her commitment to violent aggressive action, never ceasing her course of fire, facing her adversaries with grim intent (As a trained person she could be on my fire team) she never stopped shooting. She didn't get shot, maybe because her partner was a better target, cognitive dissonance didn't allow them to see her as a threat and thus they gave up the tactic advantage. She had a leadership quality if only evidence by her use of loud voice and unflinching firing of her arsenal.
Her firing technique was FUBAR. Her stance was wrong for the heavy calibers she was firing. Sight picture, sight alignment, trigger control and coming back on target could use a lot of work but there's potential in her martial spirit. Fine tuning would make her a formidable adversary Once trained, I would not be one to mess with her.
Her fighting spirit is the type legends are made of. She might not win the battle but the adversaries will have to fight through a hail of lead, shaded by a cloud of bullets that blocks the sun. I could see 5 well armed and determined shooters completely put off their game when faced with Mamma Grizzly and her 10 loaded blasters blasters draped over her like some female Ahnold cartoon character. They freeze in their tracks, unable to process this sight. Higher powers protect people like her from harm because she's protecting her home and children.
I looked at the moon last night, about 20 degrees above the horizon, nearly full and asked myself---what's GL thinking about re the moon.
Quantum entanglement got my interest around 10 years ago when physicists said it work on the atomic level only. Riiiight. Atomic level. What are we but particles and energy and empty place subject to the same micro gravities and quantum tugging of everything else in the universe.
If fractals rule the universe along with Quantum entanglement then everything that moves through us moves through everything else in the universe in almost the same manner and all at the same time That's my best shot at this for now but rest assured I've moved off my old notions of how things work. No man is an island
Later today I've give you a story of my brush with mortality last Sunday April, 5 days in hospital jail and my roomie for the last 24 hours, an 87 year old Filipino man with more ailments than I could count.
A story within a story within a story It's got some good DOTS attached
It does has an happy ending. I wa released from Renown South, cured Thus TPTB didn't nuke South Reno from low orbit. Just to be sure, yanno.
