There still are no more comments on the main thread, at least I certainly don't have any. Funny thing is that I usually visited more for the comments than the thread itself. There is tremendous value in threads like Dr J, AM and Pining, but what made this sight stand out was all the other info found in the threads (often the latest on the real goings on). Now it's like hundreds of other vanilla sights, I wonder how it will do.
This will actually be even better!
TF is blessed to have a "Board of Directors" who put their heads together to make the TFMR site an even more successful business site.
TF is 100% correct using the "front porch" / front window analogy, and since this is primarily a Metals Forum, it makes perfect sense to keep the front room/ front porch looking clean, sharp and inviting, not only to potential new advertisers, but to potential new members / paying members as well, as this is what pays the bills which provides for these forums on whatever topics float one's boat, which TF is STILL graciously providing for EVERYONE, whether or not such member is paying the subscription.
Seriously, how about a 'Thank YOU TF' once in awhile, and in the words of Monty Python, "Always look on the bright side of life.
So I stepped away from my computer for a day, and the whole site changed!
Does anyone know how to retrieve any of the posts from the past? I think I read yesterday that it could be archived somewhere…
Anyway, my heartfelt thanks to Nana for starting over again, and to Bag Of Gold for getting her forum up and running.
I'm sure I'll figure it out over the next couple of hours or days.
See you all soon.
Yeah on the left Forum link under the Traders- Stackers is the "archive' link
Hope that helps and you find your way to Main Street, Town Square, Turdville as well.
Cheers, S. Rex
It's also located right at the bottom of the main page: https://www.tfmetalsreport.com/forums
Forgive me but I don't think I can change the title of the thread, it's timed out and I don't know how to.... Hopefully everyone who is looking for it finds it and clicks on the ....dots.
There are so many wonderful people who makes dots what it is.
We are all in this together, learning, sharing and teaching each other.
could you please help Nana change the name of the thread from ... to DOTS...
as the 1st post has timed out...& it's hard for folks to find DOTS...
Edit: Nana...is that what you would want it changed to?...I'm assuming so...but just trying to help!...
Thanks a bunch!!!...

Welcome back...& where are you?!?...
I didn't know if it could have the same title as the other one on the old forums and I didn't think about the ....dots being so small and hard to click on. I think whatever is the easiest for everyone should be done if possible.
I kept the same name of my thread...& had no problem...but I can see where it could have been a problem!...Admin is gone now...& hopefully got the message!...If it doesn't get changed...go to...
post how you want the 1st post of this thread to read...& get it changed!!!...
Spartacus, there wasn't anything negative in my post...simply my personal random musings. The free threads on Main were a great one-stop resource, and now they're gone. How many forums are you going to sift through each day? I understand why the changes happened, but that doesn't mean I'm gonna do a happy dance.
Me too...if the article was too techy I'd skip over the whole thing and go right to the comments.
However you still can simply click on the "comments" and read the messages without sifting through each forum.
Does that help?
So you are a dancer, eh?
No bird legs on you then.
a site called silvergoldsilver.com that changed it's format and faded away. We'll see what happens here.
....you and I and anyone else who ever went to that site, which did have some entertainment value, know that you cannot even begin to compare the two. Hey, did you ever get some of that lulu or whatever it was called?
You are correct VB, TFMR is head and shoulders above what the former SGS site ever was. I was just saying that it seems that his change of format precipitated it's demise.
was lost...but now it has been found!!!...
