@Libero - CNN coverage shift

@Libero-

A huge shift at CNN is occurring in the last 48 hours.

They announced last week massive layoffs.

Today, I announcements on social media about the layoffs hitting.

CNN stripped the coverage teams on Capitol Hill in DC...so despite the fact that the Congress isn't doing much representing, we're now going ot see the news New York City wants us to see. The coverage is being anchored in NYC for most of the day now. No longer are we getting CNN from Atlanta. We're getting the news from NYC the way NYC wants us to see it.

The shift is palpable. We're seeing very little coverage from Ferguson now...its all about NYC news and ISIS coverage for the past 3 days.

Michael Brown Had a Clean Record

https://www.courthousenews.com/2014/09/03/71026.htm CLAYTON, Mo. (CN) - Michael Brown, whose shooting by a police officer set off weeks of protests in Ferguson, Mo., never had been charged with nor was he facing any serious juvenile charges when he was killed, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported. The Post-Dispatch on Aug. 22 filed a petition asking the St. Louis County Family Court to release Brown's juvenile records. Brown was fatally shot on Aug. 9 by Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson. Weeks of violence followed. Cynthia Harcourt, an attorney for a juvenile officer in family court, testified to the lack of serious charges on Brown's record during a hearing Wednesday. Harcourt said Brown had never been convicted of nor was he facing any equivalent of Class A or B felonies at the time of his death, according to the Post-Dispatch. Class A and B felonies would be open records in Missouri. Brown's family attorney refused to discuss whether Brown even had a juvenile record and called it an attempt at character sabotage, according to KTVI-TV.

Nana, thanks for keeping this

Nana, thanks for keeping this thread going. I fear that it will soon get quite busy again if/when the Grand Jury returns with no indictment.
