Being a former home-owner and now a renter, I need facts to keep me off the emotional (i.e. read lie) roller coaster of "Oh no, I missed out AGAIN!"... this article, in good detail, exposes why prices have leaped, the market is so 'hot', etc.
I welcome comments for discussion. I have heard during depressions rent is quite low, it's food and essentials that are expensive. Yet I wonder, if we get into a really bad depression, will anyone care if I squat in the house I own and pay nothing on the loan? Will Obama kick millions out of their homes?
