The reason I spent so much

The reason I spent so much time in DOTS was because there were a few other very strange, eclectic, slightly deranged people such as myself. The more peculiar a person, the more likely that person can see reality for what it is. The problem is if you are too weird, or imbalanced liked people that live in a mental institution (some who see reality that doesn't fit societies norm) you can't get along with people who are more fixed in their reality, and then do the things like pay your bills, have a relationship, and live a "NORMAL" live.

Understanding the financial, political, and social dynamics of reality which you have come here to do is not a matter of conditioning your mind. It is a matter of deconditioning your mind from everything you learned up to this point.

Which is the best indicator for predicting markets? Volume, RSI, 50 day moving average or the sales of cotton candy at the Mississippi state fair?

Everything is related to everything. At one level, everything is defined by electro-magnetic fields. Our brain turns these into objects so we can understand the movie. Remove the brain (observer) and there is nothing but fields and sub-atomic particles everywhere. Cosmic soup...

If you're a normal person, and have been normal all your life, and you have been taught to observe live through consensus reality ie you've been conditioned by your family, school, job and society. You could have opted out or just saw it for what it is, a game.

So which do you think is the best indicator of future performance of the SPX, tent caterpillar population in the Catskill Mts? Salmon Count in the Styx River, Heart Disease in Timbuktu?Well, they are ALL perfectly good indicators that your trading software company decided not to include as a function.

I sold SPX when the gas co. replaced the pipes under my street. I should have asked the workers when was the last time you replaced the pipes under the street.

AM is a peculiar guy himself. He talks about 13 hour clocks, bakers, uses the Sun as an indicator (try to bring up that indicator in your trading software), Roman Gods of war, etc..... Essentially all this stuff is optional. He just made a choice and asked us to come into resonances with his choices. If he went any further out, the average person wouldn't understand a word he says. And that was a problem right at the beginning of the setup when a few people started questioning him making a list of unrelated events and the price of gold. I think somebody said, you're ruining the good TA you are doing by doing this. That person probably walked away years ago because he wasn't willing to bring himself to what was really happening here.

Van Gogh slapped wet paint onto a canvas and painted swirls, weird looking tree's, and church steeples. He was out of his mind, total fruit loops but I'd bet you in today's world, he'd be the worlds best trader because he was able to look at reality through a lens that most humans cannot.

Somewhere in your life you've probably run across the idea that time is an illusion. It's relative. It can be sped up or slowed down. But that's just an idea, and it remains an idea until one day you have an experience of it. No different than some guy telling you what an apple tastes like, but you'll never know what an apple tastes like no matter how well he explains it because unless you've tasted an apple, the taste of an apple will just remain a theory in your mind.

Now, if I go visit my 90 year father and 82 year old mother and start talking this way, dad is going to say to me, we raised a nut job. A complete nut job. Dad was cronus. He was my Greek God Cronus. Discipline and structure and fantasy is for fairies. Very structured, study, go to school, get a job. Go along with the status quo. Money is time. You need Cronus. Everybody has somebody in their life who is a cronus.Without cronus you're not getting very far in life. He's the guy that sits you down and says look, enough with the fantasies and the wild ass bullshit, get out there, get your degree and get a job.

Of course mom was a little bit more lenient but she also was a philosopher that echoed this cronus like attitude. This is how people raised in New York talk. So you'll pardon mom's French. "Shit or get off the pot" Her other two favorites must have come from her childhood reading of Machiavelli "Never let others know what you're thinking" (I never mastered that one, this post case in point) and "Never show your best work or else the teacher will think you haven't improved"

This is fine, but he grew up during the great depression and his father was a strict man because the belt. There was one way to do things. So one day I put on a suit and tie, went to work for a corporation and I played that game for 20 some years.

You do see the relationship between the God Cronus and the word chronometer, an instrument such as a clock that can measure time?

Restriction and discipline is necessary for escaping the illusion of time. That's why native american's beat the drum. It is only through the persistent recognition of time as duration, that one can escape it. Without learning a craft, you can never make art.

Alot of my posts in this particular forum, attempt to align with the structure, and tone that AM has set. Using cycles, wave forms, resistance and support and using analogies that fit into concepts like Phi or Pi. Taking cronos like idea's and demonstrating and then invoking the nine Greek muses....

The Muses were nine beautiful young women who were the goddesses and embodiments of science, literature, and the arts. In ancient culture, they were the source of orally related knowledge of poetic lyrics and myths, and were considered to be the personification of knowledge and of the arts, especially dance, literature and music.

Aka finding artistic ways to express reality that is embedded in social and financial dynamics. Without any form of standardized testing, Briggs Meyer, or any woo woo charts with planetary formations, one can know by what shows up which strengths a person has by simple observation.

This is cronus but is also Ouranos who prophesied the fall of the Titanes and the punishments they would suffer for their crimes.

Now if I was to talk like this in the wrong company, an image of mom shows up that says, "get off my ass" and talk some sense.

So the collective dynamic is somewhere between. Cronus...who gives birth to chart porn.

Cronus aka chart porn and then extricating the meaning so others who find this exceedingly tedious, and incomprehensible and putting a narrative that makes sense

OR

and for some neither work, but there is always a way....

Holistically, you can find that all three tell the same story. But people live in split consciousness and separate things. That's the mind. Not reality. We all do it.

These are all trading books but people separate things, and categorize things according to their conditioning. Thus, your mind says I'm posting a psychology book in a trading forum where you want to know when to start buying. And maybe, that's all you want to know??? I am left reading the earth and bushes.

If I were to choose one of the many, many books dicussed on the forums that represents the best trading books ever written, I might choose this one.

JPG won't show. "The Tracker" by Tom Brown Jr.

Because native american's, probably a lost art that was lost as it's culture was demolished, were able to track men 100's of miles away by examining clues on a trail, the condition of the earth on the path, and the branches along side.

Just like a trader gets stopped out of a trade and realizes the market is telling you something. Are you listening? Or realizes that an impulsive move up that reaches a 6 year milestone is like seeing the part of the forest that a horse just ran through and figuring out the direction which it is traveling, and the speed, and then projecting into the future the time and location in which it has importance.

So now I've gone well outside our unsaid community dynamic of how and what we talk about relative to the price of gold. always the outlier. Not sure I have much more to offer at this stage that doesn't offend, or disassociate.

So I leave you with a little fable from the greatest trader of all time. Aesop. Actually, we don't know much about him. Apparently, he was a slave and a and storyteller believed to have lived in ancient Greece between 620 and 564 BCE. But I'm sure that every one of his stories was meant to be learned, and applied in all situations. The wisdom is seeing which story fits to any particular circumstance. It could be renamed bull and bear traps. Technical analysis alone is probably not enough because it only makes any sense if you endeavor to find the meaning.

There was once a Cat who was so watchful, that a Mouse hardly dared show the tip of his whiskers for fear of being eaten alive. That Cat seemed to be everywhere at once with his claws all ready for a pounce. At last the Mice kept so closely to their dens, that the Cat saw he would have to use his wits well to catch one. So one day he climbed up on a shelf and hung from it, head downward, as if he were dead, holding himself up by clinging to some ropes with one paw.

When the Mice peeped out and saw him in that position, they thought he had been hung up there in punishment for some misdeed. Very timidly at first they stuck out their heads and sniffed about carefully. But as nothing stirred, all trooped joyfully out to celebrate the death of the Cat.

Just then the Cat let go his hold, and before the Mice recovered from their surprise, he had made an end of three or four.

Now the Mice kept more strictly at home than ever. But the Cat, who was still hungry for Mice, knew more tricks than one. Rolling himself in flour until he was covered completely, he lay down in the flour bin, with one eye open for the Mice.

Sure enough, the Mice soon began to come out. To the Cat it was almost as if he already had a plump young Mouse under his claws, when an old Rat, who had had much experience with Cats and traps, and had even lost a part of his tail to pay for it, sat up at a safe distance from a hole in the wall where he lived.

“Take care!” he cried. “That may be a heap of meal, but it looks to me very much like the Cat. Whatever it is, it is wisest to keep at a safe distance.”

Moral

The wise do not let themselves be tricked a second time.

Enjoy the heatwave. I'm sure it doesn't mean anything relative to what brings you here.

By the way, I understand

By the way, I understand sidereal time, lunar and solar calendars and why NASA and boaters might use a different clock. But I still haven't figured out how Bakers got involved with the entire thing.

Crazy is as Crazy does GL

I caught that reference about closing one's eyes and everything becomes a chaotic mass of energy and particles (my wording). Controlling time is simultaneously easy and not. We do it naturally when in that vibe. If we try to control time it becomes like Mercury, impossible to hold.

If a person can effect a bit of time control they'll wear a small niche in the space time continuum, a cocoon of sorts. I call it No-time. They can nest in it like the Wells character in The Time Machine, pressing the lever forward and backwards, moving time slower and faster per his desires. Or stopping it entirely.

Mechanical traders try to harness the speed of forward time to make their trades in nanosecond. With all their wizardry they know nothing John Snow.

What they don't understand even as they try to parse the movement of the markets in electron speeds, the prodigious trading savant can look backwards, forwards and to the tao-now of the trade, finding the right time to place the most supremely serene order in the welter of disorder and chaos.

Maybe Livermore knew more that he let on when he said

Sit tight, be right. With the patience of BuddHA

He sat in his space time cocoon, watching the world move forward and backwards until the time was right.

I wonder if it's possible to trade in the afterlife?

Don't wait too long

Don't let the Old Man In

Phiew, my favorite computer

Phiew, my favorite computer took a nosedive, but I managed to start it up again. So much stuff to backup ...

Yes I also think it was meant to be, that I showed up here. To be honest, from what I've learned here, my whole life up till this point has been one long symbolic act, not much freedom of choice there.

Just one little example, at the age in between 32->33 I stepped down into the tomb exactly on December the 23rd, together with the Sun. The Sun always jumps back up after 3 days, but it took me another 3 moonths to recover. I think when Aries arrived I had managed to crawl back up again.

It's a nasty day and last year, 21years later, a fib number, had severe implications for Indonesian people:

"The group, Seventeen, reported that the bass player and the road manager had been killed, two of at least 281 people who died when a tsunami in Indonesia’s Sunda Strait struck without warning on the country’s two most-populous islands."

https://www.nytimes.com/2018/12/23/world/asia/tsunami-indonesia-sunda-st...

Ok another personal event, that makes you go hmmm ...

Talking about bakers. I am not fully "baked" I am born 2 weeks early. Making my time in the own only 8.64ish? months (that is 43.2 weeks). My mother slipped at work in a green house called Solgården in Kävlinge were I am from. She harvested red roses in that particular part of the massive green house.

Funny thing is that a train leaves the Triangle square here in Malmö 08 every hour and the end station is my old hometown Kävlinge. The train is purple, the color that doesn't exist ,the 8th color and symbolizes knowledge and wisdom.

More on 8 later.

One more thought on how we might view time

Our brains are electro-chemical data processors They're also quantum computers, thinking and doing in No-time, running millions/billions of thoughts per second, encased in the wet ware of our bodies, inside the skull and operating as our personal time machines.

The brain could be thought of as a time machine in its own right

I was watching a program on Fox this AM where Neil Cavuto interview RFK's daughter about her reflections on the Apollo moon mission.

Born July 4 1951, making her 68 or is it 69, she was asked about her dad and uncle's deaths. A look came into her eyes as she instantly shifted back in time, still talking in the present but moving her quantum mind to those moments when she found out her uncle was killed and then when her dad will killed. JFK's emphasis of putting a man on the moon was very large in the family

It was interesting to see the far away look as she moved back 60 years in time to those moments, lost to the interview but still able to remain in this time even though her train of thought was shifted off its track for a short while

The astronauts worked their minds as the bio-clocks needed to make sure they were spot on in the entire process of getting from the earth to the moon. The ordinary time pieces of that era were inadequate to the challenges to computing and calculating the actions needed to get them there and back It tells me we are far better grasping the intricacies of the space time continuum, working it to our advantage rather than letting time control us.

But it does control us, little missy.

COT Report

https://www.cftc.gov/dea/futures/deacmxsf.htm

Not so good at all, the Bankers are net short 278k gold contracts. And obviously, the longs are VERY long here. Could gold go up another $50 bucks here and hit a very extreme level in the paper market? Yes, for sure.

I have heard a few state the Bankers might be trapped here because the price hasn't traded lower, but we all know they're never trapped at all. They have the inside information and they don't make mistakes. It really doesn't matter if they have to wait till Sept.-Oct to make good on their trade, but they certainly will.

The problem with this rally from my perspective- there's no new thesis. I'm sorry, but just because Dialo and a few big names are pumping this asset, that's NOT an investment thesis. Either is lowing interest rates, negative yielding debt or more potential QE. Been there and done that. We had ALL of those factors in 2012, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18.

Silver looks much better in the paper market, so maybe we get a rally to $19 oz, then what? This all looks like bear market rallies and trades until it isn't.

With that all being said, in my opinion there's still time to make some trades on this rally before it fizzles out/consolidates.

Ergons and Chronons

"At one level, everything is defined by electro-magnetic fields."

As far as I know that's all that we know exists, except for time which does not seem to have those characteristics. I've always thought that the subjective impression of the passage of time depends upon the speed of the brain. In a manic or hypomanic state the processing speed of the brain seems to increase and the subjective impression is that time slows down. Some folks like to take drugs for this effect but it can be dangerous.

The eye is best understood for converting electromagnetic impulses into a working interface that allows us to navigate "reality". The basic biology is likely the same for all perception. The electromagnetic flux flips a chemical switch that links to a protein that makes a cell depolarize and a neural impulse is transmitted. How the brain interprets that little bit of neural impulse is likely determined in the first few months of life as a coherent narrative is developed by the brain being tickled. After that socialization takes over.

Zman, what if this is signs

Zman, what if this is signs of a first bullish move in the precious markets. It always starts off with a huge short bet for the commercials!?

I do not know, this is my first start of a potential bull in precious. I know many of you are bearish, but miners are breaking out left and right. At the same time it would be nice to secure some profits.

What if a rate cut occurs at the end of this month? Looking at the cosmic clock maybe it says we are ready for take off, we are in the 8th year. You know from the bible 7 bad years followed by 7 good years. We are in the first good year. Then we have the global debt situation, how about a deflationary spike down, is it still on the table? It would bring all assets down.

mmm, tough situation, the upward move in many miners are quite strong, but that could change in a heartbeat of course.

According to sentiment, I do not know if folks here are too narrow minded but on Swedish forums there is a lot of interest. 5-6 miners threads every day. That was not the case in 2018. Probably depending on the very weak Swedish crown.

Yeah, what about that deflationary collapse; where they take down ALL asset classes. A friend of mine said he recalls that in the movie "The Big Short" those guys had a draw down of around 18% before their positions were in the green. Pass the tums. I'm still trying to find a time line and have searched all over the net with no success. 1st QTR 2008 is as about the time. Will watch the movie again so see if it can be narrowed down. Friend says I'm wasting my time.

#Eclectic:

We are in a much different situation in precious metals&miners today than 2008. We are at a bottom, just started rising. In 2008 we were in a raging bull with high valuations.

Wow Lowry holes a good putt, I think AM is pleased and the a couple of bad putts, golf reminds you a lot about trading.

Edit:

Ronnie Fattal is still bullish, we are in a correction right now but in a week or two gold could/should/would resume the up move.

I was wondering where I could find a link to Scott Adams, as I haven't listened to him yet. Could someone please post a link to his podcast or blog so I can give him a listen. Thanks in advance.

In Youtube, search for this channel: Real Coffee with Scott Adams

He considers himself a "master persuader". You will hear are the terms to round up attention for the reframing "picture this", "imagine if ...", "really clever people might look at it this way ..." (how about if ..." etc.

Sometimes he shows dishonest framing by the media which is a good thing. Like eg calling out the media stories about Charlottesville, reframing the story "the Charlottesville Hoax" and in so doing making it about the storytellers rather than the actors in the story. Well that's both good and bad. Good in the sense that if the storytellers are dishonest, people who don't notice should be told.

Adams has not been removed by Youtube's amorphous rules being applied to him in similarly negative ways as has happened to other peoples channels. He comments about demonetization of videos from time to time.

Back to the Zeitgeist of our

Back to the Zeitgeist of our times, and Disney.

What product does Disney sell? The frame is important. Movies, entertainment? Go to the next level.

The foundation of Disney's offerings and it's rise to fame was the repacking of Fairy tales most notably Grimm Fairy tales and other traditions of fairy tales. Disney classics include Cinderella, The Little Mermaid, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, and Beauty and the Beast, Rapunzel.

What do they all have in common? They lived happily ever after. But anybody who has ever read the original versions knows they are downright DARK and SININISTER. Like the evil witch going after snow white to get her heart, lungs and liver. In the Brothers Grimm version, Rapunzel gets knocked up by the prince before they escape, and the evil sorceress figures it out. The sorceress cuts off Rapunzel’s hair and throws her out into the wilderness. When the prince shows up to see her, the sorceress dangles Rapunzel’s cut-off hair to lure him, and tells him he will never see Rapunzel again. He jumps out the window in despair and is blinded from the thorns below. He wanders around aimlessly (he is blind). Rapunzel gives birth to twins. He is eventually guided back to her when he hears her voice. Her tears restore his sight. They return to the prince’s kingdom and live happily ever after.

Not the versions you're probably familiar with?

Here are some other facts about the Grimm Fairy tales. In about 50 or 60 of the stories, there is a King who has three Suns (or is it Sons?). Anybody notice any crowns in Kings in those alchemical etchings AM has posted in the past?

I don't have a final number of stories that have gold has a theme? The Golden Key, The Golden Bird, The Golden Goose. The little girl who throws the golden ball up and down, GoldiLocks and the three bears.

Anybody getting the drift?

Most of the stories start, once upon a time in a land far away, there was an old sick king and the kingdom is in dissarray.

There is other repeating symbolism like the Story "The Three Feathers" feathers everywhere. The King likes to throw feathers in the air and see where they land. In the the Three feathers, one lands to the east, another to the west, and one in front.

So we have a King and three Suns. Anybody remember how long Jonhas was in the belly of the whale? Feathers are known as sacred totems in Native American teachings. The eagle represents the middle invisible force, which they refer to as Great Spirit. So we have references to 1 in 3 and 3 in one.

There is alot of sibling rivalry. IN the three feathers, the two arrogant brothers, and dumling who is an idiot and the brothers tricksters who appeal to the King not to give Dummling the thrown because he is not smart enough but somehow enters the "EARTH" to find these mythical frogs who are able to help find the things the King wants to choose which sun will rise.

King + 3 Suns = 4. The Jungians who talk alot about fairy tales call this the quaternios. A fancy word for four, or the cross. Law of 3, Law of 4, (Ganns price squared) and the Law of 7 embedded in all these tales.

So the question you're asking is who were these Grimm Brothers and what was happening in 19th century Germany that the Grimm Brothers were putting all these stories together? The Kingdom wasn't in great shape and like the tales of King Authur are all about the reunited of a broken kingdom.

But you have to go further back because tales like these show in Celtic, Norse, and others that escape me at the moment. And if you keep following the trail, you're going to find yourself going all the way back to Ancient India and the Veda's, the religious scriptures of the Hindu's.

Ancient Legendary Stories, Myths, Bibles, Fairy Tales seem to have some similarities. Hidden meaning and references as those of you followed many of Am's puzzles and techniques to decode the math and cosmology in the bible, and architecture. common origin. The Sun, Hercules, Jesus, Krishna, Little Red Riding Hood, Prince Charming etc., are all referencing hidden ideas. the characters have the similar roles, adventures and archetypical stories. the same trials and labours. The Seven visible planets and luminaries (The Active Creator God’s) in our Solar System considered to be a Macrocosmic Atom, the Twelve Constellations of The Zodiac, all play a very important role in this. The numbers Three and Four are also important. Four is the number of the elements, Fire, Air, Water, and Earth, which correspond to Light/ Heat, Gas, Liquid and Solid. They are the building blocks of the Universe. It is possible to explain every verse in the Bible with Science and Astronomy and Physics etc.

Others have suggested the Grimm Fairy tales were a way to wake up the Germans and nudge them to understand what was broken and how to fix it. MSM wasn't probably any better than, then it is now.

The Golden Ratio is EVERYWHERe including in the stock markets, bitcoin, gold markets. Hidden from view and decoded by those with a knack for such things.

It looks to me that Disney is in the business of entertainment putting out dumbed down versions of ancient mythology with cosmological references, that could well be have psychological applications such as the duel use of the ennegram which is the basis of Elliot Wave theory and a psychological system as AM pointed out.

Disney is following the trajectory of the stories that it gives to the public which demonstrate this basic fundamental universal law that are hidden in the stories which they tell, but removed for the consumption of the western mind. We are looking at a dream within a dream within a dream, and multiple levels of reality playing out. Or fractals.

And it seems to me we are also looking at the gold market which is following the rules of natural law with it's own golden ratio defining tops and bottoms in the market according to the formula's in Chris Carolyn "Spiral Calendar"

Back to the Zeigest of our times, and Disney.

So the question you're asking is who were these Grimm Brothers and what was happening in 19th century Germany that the Grimm Brothers were putting all these stories together? The Kingdom wasn't in great shape and like the tales of King Arthur are all about the reunited of a broken kingdom.

Square root of Fn x Lunasa (harmonic 13) or Lughnasadh, an ancient harvest festival.

I don't usually drink in the morning but when I do after a long night of reading, it should be with some music in the background.

Morning Nightcap

the movement of sentiment, the break down of the Kingdom, has been told for thousands of years, are embedded in those disney stories, and will play out across the world and in our very own Banana Republic. And Disney is playing out the theme's in the stories it provides for you but have distorted the truth of it's true meaning.

We're not watching a simulation. We are watching a fairy tale play out. LIke the girl who spends all day bouncing the golden ball never realizing that it represents the key to her own problems that resides inside of her. Jung, will also studied the secret properties of numbers, call this differentiation toward individuation. The problem is it was just an idea. Nobody, no human, ever done achieve this on reading his books.

The key to understanding the top and bottoms of a gold bull market. The Frog has the golden ball, and he knows the answer.

Think about it. It would be one cruel God if he didn't equip us and provide all the resources that were needed so that we might be successful.

146 years of feeding America.

Not only soup too, but refreshing, health, vital nutrient drinks too.

Is it a war stock?

Or is it a SJW stock?

I know one thing. you folks must be really hungry all of a sudden. Or some of you started stacking campbell soup. Campbell vs Gold.

If I didn't tell you that blue line was campbells soup and told you it was gold? Would you have believed me?

Gold and silver still in an

Gold and silver still in an uptrend but a sharp correction WILL occur. Same with stocks. The general psychology is, when you feel really good and excited about your positions, that's when the market gives you a taste of reality and can take it all back. That's why it is VERY VERY Difficult to read groups of people getting emotional, bullish or bearish, who don't read the tea leaves because it effects you and it can screw you over. That's why I can't read main street when I'm trading.

Stops are your friend and will prevent you from getting a beating from your wife although steep and volatile corrections don't always work that's when you tell her we were UP at noon, we have the best economy ever, and change the subject.

Thanks AM

Thanks AM for the heads up where to find Scott Adams and what to look for when watching his videos. I did use google but so many other people came up with that name that I wasn't sure which it was. I'll give it him a watch to see what he says and more importantly, how he says it.
