WHEN THE CELL TOWERS FAIL! - UPDATED

‘What is Love?’ – Why We Need to Reframe the Big Questions

Waking Times

Sometimes, I come across a piece of information, a statement or happening from around the world that knocks me for six. An event that signals the direction in which humanity is heading. The sort of harbinger that I like to imagine Orwell, Huxley or Bradbury used as inspiration. While the media fixes its lens firmly upon the latest war zone, little alarm bells are ringing in our living rooms.

The Crisis

Of what crisis do these alarm bells warn? Put simply, it’s a breakdown of human communication. Evaporating emotional intelligence. You’ve heard it before, but consider it’s impact. It strikes at the core of our being and leaves us resorting to harmful coping mechanisms. Evidence suggests a growing trend towards people intellectualising their emotions instead of feeling them.

The therapists and healers among you will know this is old news, but it’s a neurosis that’s rapidly evolving.

And then the Divorces. In 2009, The Guardian reported a growing number of US Lawyers claiming Facebook [is} a top cause of relationship trouble. "We're coming across it more and more. One spouse connects online with someone they knew from school. The person is emotionally available and they start communicating through Facebook," said Dr Steven Kimmons, a clinical psychologist and marriage counsellor at Loyola University Medical Centre near Chicago.[1]

Are they really emotionally available or using Social Media as a means of escape?

The next time you are in a restaurant where couples are dining of an evening, have a look around and count how many are actively engaging with one another. When they stare into their smart phones instead of one another’s eyes, does that signal a healthy connection to social media and work commitments?Perhaps their relationship is unfulfilling and connection to the tablet or phone seems a fair substitute. However, is the permanent connection to the internet actually causing their relationship issues?

Have they ceased to communicate with one another on a heart level?

Although we use the term more loosely today, Freud first theorised intellectualisation as a psychological defence mechanism used by humans to avoid emotional pain. The interesting point here is that unlike rationalisationintellectualisation is a pseudo-rational justification of irrational acts.[2]

We need only witness the demonisation of entire nations to glimpse these psychological mechanisms at play. While dehumanisation lies at the far end of the spectrum, emotional absenteeism is the thin end of the wedge. It’s a horrible, barren human interplay that has emeshed with family dysfunction over many years. Smart gadgetry has recently been identified as the new agent of this dysfunction.

Historically it was the misuse of alcohol and drugs.

The crucial distinction is this: Substance abuse ultimately kills both human spirit and human bodies. Gadgets can keep us alive, merge with us, make our lives more convenient until we’re pushed onto the threshold of transhumanism. So convenient that our opportunity to feel human emotion is removed. But the need is still there. So convenient that the sacred journeying of human existence is eliminated. But the child is still within.

I’ve had many conversations with people at dinner parties, networking groups or with friends on the topic of emotional dysfunction. I found it striking that so many have discussed the trauma of being raised in an emotionally barren family. Struggling for years to maintain the false construct of their lives, they finally “cracked” around their mid thirties, and ran from the rat-race at one hundred miles an hour. Straight into the consulting room of a therapist.

I’ve heard it so many times, it’s almost a rite of passage. But are we repeating the same destructive pattern with the younger generation?

Alarm Bells

On 26th August 2014, The Independent reported on a recent experiment carried out by scientists at the University of California, Los Angeles. That study suggested that a heavy use of screens from a young age may be impairing children’s ability to develop social skills.[3]

“The study, published online in the journal Computers in Human Behavior, found that a group of 11 and 12-year-olds who went five days without looking at a smartphone, television or other digital screen became better at reading human emotions than a group of their peers who continued to spend hours every day looking at their devices.”

No surprise there then.

I’ve also heard from shocked friends and parents. A few have found their primary aged child searching the internet using words picked up from the playground. Words the parents didn’t think to block and filter. Google can be a cruel teacher. This is not a reason for censorship, however. It’s a wake up call to have a human conversation.

A recent party political style video made as part of the Scottish Referendum campaign depicted a mum stating that her kids “Never have their heads out their phones.” Is this really the norm in today’s society? It’s not in my household.

I believe humanity becomes the product of its own behaviour. Sometimes it’s a good thing. An athlete who trains daily for a long distance race calls it discipline. For the person who has their behaviour modified through a process of reward or punishment, until they associate an action with pleasure or distress, it is conditioning. When an egocentric parent, partner or sibling uses this tactic upon a subordinate to exclusively further their own agenda, the seeds for emotional dysfunction are sown.

When parents are emotionally absent from their children’s lives, either through alcohol, gadgetry, workaholism or keeping up with the Jones’, their preoccupations ensure that they set the wrong example. They fail to teach their children about feelings. They can’t show them what real love feels like because they don’t know. Kids then look for stimulation elsewhere.

In 2012, Google announced the most searched for term by humans on planet earth that year. There are over 2 Billion internet users, and those who used Google in 2012 made 1,873,910,000,000 (One trillion, eight hundred seventy-three billion, nine hundred and ten million) searches. [4]

For me, that’s an unfathomable number of searches.

Even more unfathomable, then, is Google’s revelation that the most searched for term that year was:

“What is Love?”

Is that love as a noun or a verb? The definition of an abstract concept is totally different from human experience of it.

In seeking a definition or explanation, we are looking outside of ourselves for a the answer. How utterly bizarre to imagine so many souls across the globe asking a computer, an electrified metal box, to define love. That was the news that knocked me for six.

And herein lies the problem with gadgetry and it’s harmful effects upon social skills and emotional intelligence. My friend, Life Coach and NLP Specialist Colette Reilly suggests the key to solving this problem lies in reframing it. “The only way to find out what love is, is to have a conversation with another human being. So, if someone asks, ‘What is love?’, perhaps we should be responding with, ‘What is love, to you’ and ‘How do you know you are loved?’ or ‘What makes you feel loved?’”, Colette advises.

Marriage is a commitment. A promise to nourish one another with our intentions and our actions. It’s a promise to engage and support one another on the human level, meaning heart as well as head. It’s practising loving behaviour. It’s finding out what makes your partner and family feel loved and contributing to that.

When humanity asks a computer “What is love?”, I’m reminded of this line from Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, “With how many things are we on the brink of becoming acquainted, if cowardice or carelessness did not restrain our inquiries.”

So you don’t need to ask a computer about emotions. And why wait until someone asks you? Go, tonight, and ask your loved ones:

“What makes you feel loved?”

guarantee they’ll put down their tablet or mobile, and you can start being human again.

Yes when the power grid is destroyed, we who are old baby boomers will need to give classes on how to talk to and love one another. For the first month or so after the powerless event, the majority will just walk around in herds, looking at a blank screen, confused, unable to think , and finally look around for 360 degrees to see it there are any people even in their area.

This article above, was sent to me today from a man who is seeing the truth and I thank him. There are many bad habits that have infiltrated this world. Most of them are sexual but we have smoking, drinking, drugs, and all the many sins of the flesh. Now we have the addiction of the text, i-pads, computer games, and even many other devices that I do not even understand. But this I know, these things are destroying the very interactive life that has been given to us. Your device will not work while in your cave as you search out a place to open up your bugout bag. That is when you will need to know how to talk directly to other cave dwellers.

Remember men: Women fall in love with what they hear and men fall in love with what they see! Both are lacking today.

Update; I was having one of my daydreams this morning after posting this article. I saw myself at one of our regular high school dances after the football game. You know, all the babes on the other side of the dance floor and the guys standing and trying to get the courage to dance. Well, everyone was texting, across the floor. I just walked over, grabbed your favorite gal, had three close dances and headed out the door for the shake shop. (Greasy french fries and a burger for 75 cents). Now I am driving her home and you are still texting. Jim

Hi guys, lots of good stuff here:

I got woken up at the crack of dawn, with all kinds of work to do, emergency repairs, and that sort of thing, I was thinking that things would die down just a tad after school started, but so far, no such luck.

 With a somewhat renewed interest in the rabbit hole, I actually went through this five-hour video last night,

 although it doesn't cover much new territory for most of us, I think just being able to articulate a lot of the explanations is worth while.

 Later tonight, I'm going to watch the video just posted by abguy4, because I really enjoy his perspective on things.

 Here's my contribution:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xesn6DXbvWE

I know it's a few years old now, but I did find it to be well presented.

 Sometimes it helps to put things in a historical perspective,

 and it's already been said, you either love him or hate him,

 I just like him.

2nd morning update!

There is an O.T. scripture that many have pondered since it was written. Some of the cults and divided steeple houses think that by joining their systems, the scripture will be fulfilled. Then I started to get nervous. Here I am, married for 46 years and have that babe from our high school days. Two kids, six grandkids and having a wonderful baby boomer life. Then Isaiah 4:1 jumps out at me in a moment of daydreaming/nightmare:

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Isaiah 4:1King James Version (KJV)

4 And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

These seven women, in my dream, were knocking on this old man's door, looking for a husband that will just throw away all of the electronic devices and actually talk to them, one on one. I do not think Linda will answer our door. (yes I had fun with this). Jim

abguy4:

That was a fascinating video. Although the audio portion of it covered familiar ground, the text particularly in the first 15 min. I found it quite informative. Also, I actually took the time to watch the slideshow.

 Seeing as most of it came from the same website, I took the time to go through all the graphics.

 Time well spent.

 I'd love to know more about your experiences, and why you have come to believe nearly all the same things I do, from what I gather, we have led very different lives.

 Although I have witnessed things in the sky that just “can't be”, I have found many credible explanations.

 The thing that intrigues me most about “interdimensional” beings, which I think is exactly what we are dealing with here,

 is that according to the vast majority of my own research, human beings are also interdimensional, the only thing that limits them to this dimension, is that they simply do not know their true nature.

 I've been using YouTube guided meditations at night, to do what I can to rewire my own brain, and over the past month, I have noticed many things during the course of my day that simply cannot be written off as coincidental.

 At night, my dreams have become much, much more vivid, and are usually lessons to be learned from them.

 Guided meditations have become far more visual, it's a fascinating experience.

I do find that the more that I do in this area, the easier it gets.

 Practice, practice, practice!

I find it interesting that throughout the history of the world, indigenous cultures have been eviscerated, and I do believe that it is a direct result of a belief system that the powers that be wish to stomp out at all costs.

 This particular graphic came up a few times, and although it is not significant as a standalone, it tells a story that has been repeated across the globe, and throughout all of recorded history:

reschool_dees.jpg

 Speaking from personal experience, 12 years of Catholic school left me severely scarred on many levels.

 The common theme in all of these belief systems that have been destroyed, are the simple belief that “we are all one”. That means to me one with all things, with each other, and with our Creator.

 This does not work well for our adversaries who use a “divide and conquer” strategy across the board.

 I do find it useful to have a firm grasp on history to make sense out of current events.

 It is also easy to understand why most who speak the truth these days will be labeled “insane”.

 Such revelations take time to grasp, mainly because there is a belief system already firmly in place that simply clashes with reality. This will never be overcome for most people, and we are running out of time for even those who are “aware”, and are willing to learn to grasp the full reality of the situation.

 Even with a complete willingness, it's like peeling layers of an onion, to get to the truth.

 This takes time, but it can be done.

 It starts by challenging everything you “Know” to be true.

 It also takes a lot of critical thinking skills, something our education system has sought to destroy for many generations now.

 The one thing that gives me some “hope”, is that most of the “suppressed technology” is in the hands of human beings, that may not want to participate in the genocide of the human race. (Military)

Much of the power that the “elite” maintain is by recruiting from the very populous they wish to enslave.

 (This is also their Achilles' heel.)

 I understand that they have convinced many men unimaginable good fortune as long as they participate.

 These are the very people that need to be “woken up”, as when they are no longer needed, they will be the first to be eliminated.

 The stories of “underground cities”, also rings true, there are other members here who have worked on them.

 It's entirely possible that all life above ground has been marked for elimination, much like in the days of Noah.

 In such a scenario, “a big stack of shiny” will be worthless.

 Since by nature, I refuse to accept a “can't win scenario”,

 I'm continuing to watch the events as they unfold, and adapting my plans, particularly in staying out of the way. In another radio show that I listened to today, New York City was one of the many population centers marked for destruction, and I suspect that I am uncomfortably close in the event of such a scenario.

 (Show can be found here:) https://www.allnewspipeline.com/Beware_Of_What_Is_Next.php

 It's time for me to start adopting an effective “bugout strategy”

 long-term, I've got some good ones, short term, it's a roll of the dice.

 In the meantime, I want to learn a little bit more about what it means to be “interdimensional”.

 Lots to lean, and lots to remember.

To those that served our military

Please forgive if this appears a thread hack, it is not meant to be and anyone can move it to the proper thread if you direct me where you put it.

I have a vast knowledge of little stuff about a whole lot of subjects.

My question is about our uniformed military wearing the American flag inverted sideways.

~~~~~~~
cliff asks,
Who caused this to occur?
Why have they not been assassinated for their crimes?
There is more brewing here than any individual can contain. We need input, all of us individuals who care about our progenies' future and our ancestor's gift.
You guys that served should look hard into this. It counts. These assholes are heavy into telling you up front what is coming. The backward flag on our troop's uniforms is a tell.
I personally graduated from a trade school in 1970, 2 months later I was 18 years old. Being the bright young fellow that I was' I was accepted to a post graduate course in electrical engineering.
I quit that course before the end of the first semester in order to keep myself eligible for the draft.
Three years later the war was almost done and the draft was no more. My birthday was a lucky number, I was never called.
I made my self available on purpose to look my friends in the eye and know in my own heart that I took the same risk as them in an arbitrary lottery that those who could merit or afford a college could decline to be party to the lottery pool.
The little I know is that when our military switched their soldiers' patches from right shoulder to left, that the Republican party turned their 5 sided star upside down. The sign of baphomet. The goat of Babylon.
There is culpability for the excavating.
US Flag on Service Uniforms
Hey Cliff...
Our son is an Army combat medic. The flag is positioned on left side closer to the heart and is "inverted" so that the flag appears to be flying as the soldier is moving forward.
Mind control:
A couple of nights ago, while I was on my “David Icke kick”, I watched this video about mind control:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQIYc_ToZ8g
Although I have no experience with any “government agency”, or “illuminati" I could see many parallels to my own childhood, between unending abuse both home and at school, and the clear signs that it left on my psyche.
 I know firsthand that human beings “spirit” can be destroyed, and it takes years to put the pieces back together.
 More accurately stated, a combination of parental abuse, and obedience to a false religion will very neatly separate one self from their own soul and spirit. Such an outcome for all intents and purposes is “living in hell”.
 I have no doubt that this is being done on a global scale,
 and few know what's going on.
The Grand Saudi Reversal
While for the past 35 years Saudi Arabia has supported all the jihadist movements to the most extremist, Riyadh seems suddenly to have changed policy. Threatened in its very existence by a possible attack from the Islamic Emirate, Saudi Arabia has given the signal for the destruction of the organization. But contrary to appearances, the EIS remains supported by Turkey and Israel who sell their looted oil.
Preliminary: the EIS is a Western creation
The unanimity of the Security Council against the Islamic Emirate (EIS) and the passage of the 2170 resolution are only a facade attitude. This cannot induce us to forget the state support provided the EIS and which it still has.
To take only the recent events in Iraq, everyone has observed that EIS fighters entered the country in columns of brand new Humvees, straight from US American Motors factories and armed with Ukrainian materials, also new. With this equipment they seized the US weapons of the Iraqi Army. Also, everyone was amazed that the EIS had civil administrators instantly capable of taking over the management of the conquered territories and communications specialists that promote its activities on the Internet and on television; personnel obviously trained at Fort Bragg.
Although US censorship has forbidden any review, we know from the British news agency Reuters that, in January 2014, a secret session of Congress voted financing and arming the Free Syrian Army, the Islamic Front, and Al-Nosra Front of the Islamic Emirate until September 30, 2014 [1]. A few days later, Al-Arabiya boasted that Prince Abdul Rahman was the real leader of the Islamic Emirate. [2] Then, on February 6, the US Secretary of Homeland Security brought together major European Interior Ministers in Poland asking them to maintain European jihadists in the Levant by prohibiting their return to their countries of origin, so the EIS would be numerous enough to attack Iraq.
I don't know where to put this?
A friend of mine was having a heart attack about two years ago and called me to drive him to the hospital, a half hour drive which I did in twenty minutes.
From there they rushed him to a much larger hospital and he had emergency heart surgery in which they took a vein from his leg and replaced some of his heart plumbing.
When he got back they gave him a bunch of pills to take including a statin drug.
He stopped taking all of them after a month or so. He changed his diet, a couple of weeks ago he went in for a checkup and the doctor told him his blood pressure was very good and his blood work came back excellent.
The doctor then told him to keep taking his medications at which point my friend told the doctor that he hadn't been taking any of them for well over a year.
He said the doctor got very upset and told him he had to at least take the statin drug or he would have to have the operation again in 10 years instead of 30 years.
Why does he have to take the drug if all his tests were fine?
