Can anyone tell me what this is?

I found this in a coin collection I dug up up in my parents closet....does anyone know if this is legit? Its a 'silver eagle' with a stamp that says "one pound proof" on the back. Have any of you see this before?

be careful here

don't want to burst the buBBle, but....i sEE these types of "coins" show up often @ the LCS. sadly, they are NOT .999 Ag.

these are replicas of the ASE and clad. the only one's that are SILVER say 1 TROY pound .999 SILVER or 1/2 TROY pound FINE SILVER on the reverse.

nice find, but it is not worth more than .50 @ the LCS. while a TROY pound of Ag we would trade you around $350 in FRN's...

enjoy everyday
